Hello everyone, woow it's been forever.. I'm really sorry for this endless wait but I was caught up with school and exams :( I'm back now and I have a lot more time to translate so I will post more frequently from now on. 

As you can see it's not a chapter but a note from the author about the darkweb which is something that will be mentioned soon in Supremacy. 

It's really interesting and it will help you learn more about this subject so I suggest you to read it even if it's not a chapter :)

Hey guys ! As you can see this is not a chapter but a note.

It's a very special note about the Dark Web because this is something that will be mentioned later in the story.

This note is for information purpose; I will not go too deep into this notion in this fic but since I am really interested in the Dark Web, I decided to publish this note to give you some information to enlighten you about this world.

As I researched the subject at length, something struck me: the misuse of the terms related to this subject (whether by youtubers, newspapers or even the media).

So, I will try to explain to you in a simple way the difference between: Deepweb, Darknet(s) and Darweb. Because yeah, these three terms refer to different things.

Many people get confused with these terms because they know little or nothing about the subject. And sometimes, some people just talk about these for the buzz with titles like "10 shocking things you can find on the Deepweb, click here !" And it's really sad because that's mostly what misleads people on the meaning of the word 'Deep Web' for example that they will later use it to refer to the Dark Web and pass it off as the dark part of the Internet which is actually not true.

Just to make it clear, I am not diving deep into the subject here, people have written whole books about this. My point here is only to help you understand and learn basic things about the subject.

So, here are three definitions I had formulate in my own words in order to make it more intelligible:

DEEPWEB: it's a part of the web you can't access with regular search engines (like Google, Yahoo, Bing...) for many reasons but the most common reason is that some websites (or part of websites) are not linked with other pages which means they can't be found by search engines like Google with their 'google robots' (these are in charge to direct you to 'wattpad' page when you type 'wattpad' for example).

But trust me, you use the deep web everyday and more than you think, for example: when you open your bank website to check your account, you are on the deep web.

Darknet(s): it's an overlay network which aims to create anonymity for you to browse on the darkweb. I think that some of you here may know the network TOR, which is a famous network aiming to access anonymously to the Darkweb to avoid being tracked if you browse on illegal websites. It serves as a coverage: thanks to this network nobody will know that you're surfing on the darkweb and chats will also be anonymous.

HOWEVER: if you use TOR you have to make sure to close all other pages of the clearweb (the regular web that you use, the one you are currently using to go on wattpad) or else your anonymity might not be useful.

Fun fact: TOR's logo is an onion because it's an overlay network so it's referring to the superimposed layers of the onion. Moreover, when using TOR, the website's address doesn't end with '.com', '.org', '.fr', '.en'... It ends with '.onion' :D.

DARKWEB: here we go. So, the Dark web is the content and websites you'll find while using TOR for example. (It's really simplified, it's more complicated than that). So, we can say that the Dark web is really the darkest and most awful place on the web. That's where people sell drugs, weapons, fake diplomas, pedophile networks etc. I'm not going to go into details because it's really creepy.

BIG DISCLAIMER: I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO NOT TRY TO ENTER THE DARK WEB. It's really dangerous, if you don't know anything about this world you better not try to enter it because if you make just a tiny mistake you would end up in jail. Please don't be blinded by curiosity. (I, personally, will never EVER go there, like NEVER).

Lastly, the reasons why I decided to write this: well as I already said the Darkweb will be mentioned in this fiction. To be honest, when I first decided to write Supremacy, I wanted to focus on the Darkweb but it would have been too difficult for me to do so and for you to understand. A fiction based on the Darkweb means a lot of technical terms and definitions because it's more complicated and deep than this small note. So I decided to do something that was more based on reality for Supremacy (= Taehyung's ring is mainly about weapon trafficking, revenge, and all of this is covered behind the two nightclubs and is not a ring from the Darkweb even if it's somehow linked as you'll see later on the story).

That's in fact from this idea that I decided to use the word 'ring' in Supremacy, since it was supposed to unfold mainly on the internet.

So yeah, it made me happy to write this note and I hope you liked it.
