I'm woken up by my phone ringing. I quickly roll over to answer the call without checking to see who it was first

"Hello?" I let out a rasp

"Shit were you sleeping?" a familiar voice asked

"I- no" I said

"Are you sure?" She said

"Im up. Whats up Ariana?" I asked

"I just wanted to make sure you weren't gonna back down for today" she said

"No I'm not. I'll be at your house by four" I said

"Well actually, can you come earlier so we can hang out a little?" She asked.

I can practically hear the pout on her face

"Anything for you" I said giving in immediately

"Yay! Okay, then I'll see you at one" she said

I removed my phone from my ear to look at the time. Eleven am

"I will see you at one then" I smiled even though she couldn't see it

"See you soooon" she sang

"See you pop star" I said

With that she hung up.

Well since she wants me there by one, I guess i should get up now so I have time to do everything.

I threw my legs over the bed to get up and walked straight to the bathroom.

I did my usual shower routine and brushed my teeth. All that's left to do is find a good outfit for the dinner and do my hair and make up. Now, Ariana didn't say what style I should be dressing in, so I better check.

I went straight to my closet to find something causal looking. I really only have clothes for the office and occasional sweatpants. I keep searching until I find the one.

"This should be okay" I said to myself admiring the light washed jeans with a white tube top. I get dressed in it, then go back to my bathroom to finish up my hair

Once I'm finished with everything, I send Ariana a text that I'm gonna stop at the store because I don't want to show up to this dinner empty handed. So that's where I am. The store. I'm currently trying to pick out some nice flowers.

"Your back so soon?" The same worker from last time asked as I walked in

"Grace right?" I asked

"Yea. Another date?" She asked

"Actually a dinner" I said

"I see, well can I help pick anything out today?" She said

"I actually got it this time. I'll just get these"
I gestured towards the roses

"Those are pretty" she said

I smiled

"Come on, I'll ring you up" she said

I grabbed four bouquets of roses since Ariana said that her brother and his boyfriend will be there. I don't want them to feel left out

"So are you meeting the family?" Grace asked
