"I'm sorry, we have somewhere to be. But I'll call your Dad and try to arrange another sleepover soon, okay?"

It didn't take Jayce long to collect her bags or say her goodbyes and afterwards, I took her into my arms carrying her back upstairs. Hopefully Brandt is not too far away and he'll be here soon. Gratefully I was right in my assertion and it wasn't long until Brandt was texting me that he's outside.

Yes, I feel bad about leaving Gia but also not really. I wouldn't have left her if I didn't have the fullest confidence that Christian would do right by her and make sure she gets home safe, and nothing more. He may be a fuckboy but he's not stupid. If he tries to pull some slick shit I'll cut off his dick. We all know that I know my way around a scalpel.

The last thing I need to do is send a text to Ms. April letting her know I wasn't feeling well and went home. Which isn't entirely a lie. I'm not feeling well right now, but I'm also not going home. Well that's also not a lie. I am going home.. I'm just not going to my home.

With a tired Jayce-Lynn in my arms I made my way out to Brandt's BMW. He was leaned up against the car waiting for me. As I got closer I noticed there was someone in the passenger's seat. He brought Ayah with him, I'm assuming so one of them could drive my car back.

I tossed him my keys, "Can you please get her car seat out of my car?" I nodded to the child that was in my arms.

"Nooo, I wanna go with  Uncle Brandt." Jayce whined.
Girl we are going with Brandt that is the whole purpose of him being here.

"Bug, we're gonna go with Brandt but we can't leave without your seat okay?" Brandt grabbed the car seat out of my car and quickly got it strapped in properly in his, before handing my keys to Ayah.

"I'll see you back at the house babe, okay?" They said their goodbyes and I took her seat in the car after getting Jay buckled up in the back.

I don't know how I feel about her driving my car, but the good news is if for whatever reason she ends up crashing it or something Beckham would gladly pay for a new one. And I wouldn't hate a Range Rover, specifically matte black or olive green.

After Brandt said bye to Ayah, he climbed back into the car and pulled off. "Oh and Beckham said to bring you a change of clothes. They're in the back."

I wasn't offended by that. The De Loughreys have extremely high standards, regarding every single aspect of life. There are dozens of unwritten rules. Arguably the most important being the ones that are regarding one's physical appearance.

I nodded my head. Looks like I'll be changing in the car. I reached back grabbing the clothes from the backseat. I raised my eyebrows in confusion. "Where'd you get these?"

Yes, I have some clothes left over at Beck's place but this for sure came out of my closet. I've never worn this dress in front of Beckham. Hell, I just bought it a few weeks ago. I haven't worn it anywhere.

He rubbed the back of his awkwardly clearing his throat, "Beckham grabbed it. He umm made himself a key to your place a while back."

He did what with my what? I bit the inside of my lip to keep from cussing. Let's just take a moment and calm down, it's a holiday. It's supposed to be a happy time.

I closed my eyes tightly before reopening them, "It's been a long day. We're going to table that discussion for now."

As we got closer to our destination I decided it was time for me to change. Given the fact that I have changed in car's numerous times in my life (due to my former profession) it wasn't exactly a difficult task.
