Josh's pov

"Hey!" i called out to the front desk.
"Josh! Hi what are you doing here? i thought you don't have dance rehearsal today?" Macy, the front desk asked.
"Oh i don't, i just forgot my jacket here the other day so i'm here to pick it up." i explain.
"Oh! okay sure thing, uh i think there's someone practicing in there right now but i doubt they'll mind" she says.
"thanks macy! see you soon!" i wave as i walk down the hallway to studio 4.

I push open the door and enter the gym. Once i look in i see a girl in the middle of the studio facing the mirror dancing.
Her dancing skills were flawless.
She is really pretty too...

I hear the door close behind me and she whips around.

Ellie's pov
About an hour ago

"hey macy!" i call out, holding my bag and water bottle in my hands.
"ellie! welcome back? here for another practice?"
"yep!"
"okay cool! it looks like studio 4 is open"
"thank you, i'll see you later it!"

Present

I throw my hair into a messy bun, as i replay the song again.
I'm currently practicing some random hip hop moves while listening to music to get myself into the mode. (i'm sorry i don't dance ahh)

After a few minutes i can feel my self work up a sweat, i'm really getting into it when i hear the door close from behind me.

I quickly whip around and come face to face to a cute curly brown headed boy. I quickly run over and turn off the music and face him again.

"Uh i'm sorry! i didn't mean to interrupt your dancing.." he speaks up.
"no no it's fine!" i say back.
"sorry i just came to grab my jacket" he explains as he looks around the room.
"yeah that's fine"

He smiles at me and spots his jacket on a bench.

"do you dance here?" i ask trying to start a conversation.
"uh kinda? i have dance rehearsals here but i don't dance dance, if you know what i mean" he replied after grabbing his jacket.

He walks a little closer and speaks up again, "uh josh" he says as he sticks out his hand.
I do the same, "ellie" i say back.

"ellie.." he whispers smiling to himself.
"well ellie your really good at dancing.. from what i saw anyway.. better than me" he says laughing a little.
"thank you" i giggle.
"uh and your really pretty too.." mumbles scratching the back of his neck.
I feel a blush rise to my checks, "uh thank you.. again" i giggle

He smiles once again. 
"i should probably-" he says as he points behind him with his thumb.
"yeah of course!" i say, a little disappointed our conversation got cut off so soon.

He smiles one last time as he turns around and starts for the door.

"Hey wait!" i call out.

I watch as he turns around, "hmm?" he looks at me.
I get nervous and start playing with my fingers. "uh maybe we could i don't know practice a little sometime? you know dancing.. maybe i could help you out?" i say shyly.

"I would like that" he finally says.

After exchanging numbers and talking for a little bit more, josh finally says, "shoot i really gotta go now.." he frowns a bit.
"That's okay! i'll see you soon?" i ask, talking about our dance practice.
"very soon" he smiles and turns to leave.

"Bye ellie!" he calls out before he fully exits the studio.

I smile to myself as i walk back to play the music again.
