"I know.." She sighed, "I just miss everyone here.."

"We're not going anywhere!" George called out, causing her to chuckle. "Yeah, we're not going anywhere!" Fred continued.

"Of course." She laughed loudly.

"I think it's time to head back.." She sighed once more, standing up.

"We'll see you soon. Just wait for a few more years." Cedric grinned at her, and she nodded at him with a smile.

"I'll see you soon."

Lyra took one more glance to everyone in the room, Luna, Neville, some of the Weasleys, Tonks, Harry, Hermione, Cedric, and everyone else she missed..

"We'll see you soon." They agreed, smiling at her.

Lyra then took a deep breath before pulling Harry into another hug.

"I'll see you soon, Mum." He grinned, kissing her cheeks.

"See you soon, Harold." She cracked a smile, before walking towards the light.

She was about to take the last step, but she stopped, turning back to them,

"Did anyone.. die? From my time?" She asked softly, dreading to hear the answer.

They all glanced at each other before looking at her, "When you woke up from your vision, you told Lily to keep everyone away from the entrance.. The Death Eaters were rounded there.. You managed to paralyze them quicker, just in time.." Hermione explained..

"You saved everyone, Mum.. Don't worry." Harry assured her.

She let out a cry of relief, wiping the happy tears away before taking the last step to the bright light.

"See you all soon."

------

Lyra's eyes flew open, waking up from her death experience. She gasped loudly from the feeling of waking up from death..

"Oh Thank God!" James cried out in relief, cradling her body closer.

"Your heart stopped! I thou- I thought you were dead!" James cried, burying his face to her neck.

"Technically, I did die." Lyra laughed softly, brushing his hair back.

"Don't ever do that again!" He scolded her with teary eyes.

"No promises." She joked,

"I'm serious!" "No, that would be me." Another voice chimed in.

Lyra looked up and saw her friends surrounding her, along with most of the students there.

"How long was I out?" She questioned her teary friends.

"10 minutes." Peter sniffed.

Lyra pulled away from James' embrace and quickly pulled Peter into a tight hug.

"You killed him! You did it!" She grinned happily.

"I did." Peter cracked a smile.

"Oh! I'm so proud of you! I'm so proud of all of you! You were all so brave!" She squealed happily.

Lyra then pulled away from the hug once more and stood up, surprised by her own actions, she stumbled around. James caught her and held her still, rubbing her back softly.

"We won.." Lyra whispered in disbelief, "We won!" She exclaimed, and everyone else started cheering loudly, hugging each other happily.

Lyra caught sight of a red-head and quickly went over to her, ignoring James' protests.

"Oh, Lily! You're okay!" She cried out happily, latching onto the red-head.

"Me? You died Ly!" Lily exclaimed, hugging her tightly.

"Been there, done that." She joked.

"Not funny!"

Lyra simply laughed, she was in bliss that they won the war.. Eventhough they had a lot of injured, no one died and that was enough for her.

"Lyra!" A pair of voice called out to her, and when she turned around to look at them, she was greeted by a warm embrace.

"Thought we lost you!" Apollo sighed in relief, pressing a kiss on her forehead.

"We won." She grinned childishly.

"We did." Imelda smiled, sniffing lightly. "And it's all thanks to you."

"No, mum.." She denied softly, looking at everyone else in the room.

"It's because of all of us.. We fought bravely, we won." She smiled, letting her tears flow freely.

Because in the end, every tear you shed, every loss you suffered, and every tragedy that happened.. you will have your happy ending..

Lyra wasn't the sole reason they won the war.. Sure, she played a huge part in it, whether it be collecting the horcrux, teaching students to duel, bringing others from the Dark side, in the end, they won because every single person there was brave enough to fight, risked their lives to fight the war, and that was the reason they won.

The moral of the story is, yes happy endings do exist, though not always. Great tragedies often lead to undeniable happiness, and that should be enough for you to go on with your life. This is the life they deserved, the ending they deserved. Because their kind are given a chance to prove their loyalty, their bravery, their strength. They're the gifted.

Lyra really said: i'm alive but i'm dead 🧍🏽‍♀️😼

HOLY SHIT IT'S OVER!! THIS IS THE FIRST BOOK I'VE EVER FINISHED WRITING, AND EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE STILL SOME ERRORS AND IS SLIGHTLY CONFUSING, I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!

I COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU GUYS, HONESTLY! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THE SUPPORT YOU'VE GIVEN ME, WORDS CAN'T DESCRIBE HOW MUCH YOU ALL MATTER TO ME..

Anyways, maybe there will be an epilogue, and perhaps a few bonus chapter when I feel writing it, but I'm just glad I managed to actually finish this book. Christ.. This is incredible.. I still can't believe it..

I wrote this story as a way to relieve my own imagination. Writing is something I do to express myself, and I'm still 14, I'm learning and improving. My writing is far from perfect, but through the 2 year journey of my writing, I've improved so much, and I'm so proud of myself for actually finishing this book.

This book is also a form of motivation for perhaps some of you.. the few previous chapter I wrote, i hope it helped you. I just want to say that I know most of you relate that reading/writing is a way for you to get away from everything and everyone..

I started reading because of my depression, and it brought me happiness. Not only that, it improved my English a lot, and for that I will be forever grateful.

Thank you to every each of you, I appreciate you. You're amazing. You're loved, and you're worth so much more than you think. I love you.
