THE FOUR ENTERED THE hall, walking down the isles of people crying or people lying dead on the floor. Davina stopped at Tonks and Remus, looking down at their bodies and feeling her stomach wash into a sickness before hearing a crying call out for her.
She stood from the two on the ground, walking over to the crying Weasley's.
Davina watched Ron sobbing over Fred's body, Davina's heart dropped into her stomach and her breathing became a pant as she watched her boyfriend cry over her best friend.
"Ron," she whispered when he stood up, his first move was to jump into her body and that he did.
His arms were tight around her shoulders as his tears soaked her neck, she comforted him by stroking his hair before feeling herself cry when George turned to her.
Though it hadn't been long, Fred was her friend. And telling the twins that he had gone, especially Calista, was going to be hard.
That being the first thing she thought of as her selfish mind would let her admit Fred was gone forever. They stood around Fred's body, George giving Davina a short and gentle hug but not one of them speaking a word.
Ron held onto her hand and wouldn't let go, even minutes later. His grip on her was tighter than ever, almost like he was going to lose her as well as his brother.
"It's okay," she whispered as she comforted him, his sobs in her shoulder as he leaned against her.
