DAVINA SAT ON THE grass hill with Hermione, a book in her lap with her large coat wrapped around her body for warmth in the cold air from the outside.
"You haven't really spoken much since the Amortentia, Davina," Hermione said as she closed Davina's book to catch her attention.
"There's nothing to speak about, Hermione," Davina spoke when she put the book down onto the floor. "What are you so interested in?" Hermione said when she pointed at the book.
"I haven't seen you take your eyes off that book."
"It's a book Neville said I should read, he was right it is interesting," Davina told Hermione before watching the Quidditch tryouts.
"Who's that going for Keeper?" Davina asked when she noticed somebody else going out for Ron's role in the game she never truly understood but always went to for support of her friends.
"He- I have no clue," Davina furrowed her eyebrows once noticing Hermione was going to say something else. However, since she stopped saying it there was no point in Davina asking if she clearly didn't want to tell her.
Hermione smiled slightly at the boy once the cheering of Ron started.
The game started and the boy had saved many balls compared to Ron, Davina began to grow worried for the boy as she knew how much he loved the role of Keeper.
She watched as Ron nearly fell from his broom listening to the gasps of others and watched as Lavender also grew worried.
"Confundus," Davina heard Hermione whisper and the boy had missed saving the ball.
Davina smiled along Hermione before they high-fived each other, Davina whispering how smart that was.
Ron saved his ball after that, everyone clapping and cheering for Ron after his victory.

"For weeks you carry around this book, practically sleep with it and yet you have no desire to find out who the Half-Blood Prince is?" Hermione asked as they walked.
Davina took in the sight of the place, the floor covered in this soft cover of silver snow that covered every inch of the place.
Wrapping Ron's jumper tightly around her along with a scarf and gloves. "I didn't say I was curious and I don't sleep with it," Harry defended himself.
"Well, it's true. I like a nice chat before I go to bed now all you do is read that bloody book. It's just like being with Hermione," Ron said which earned a glare from the brunette.
"Well, I was curious, so I went to-"
"The library," The three others said as they interrupted the girl.
"And?" Harry asked. "And nothing. I couldn't find a reference to the Half-Blood Prince," Hermione told them all.
Davina looked down when she felt her hand become warmer and heavier, noticing Ron had wrapped his hand in hers as he shivered slightly under the bitter weather.
She smiled and fastened her hand tighter around his, her body pulling closer into his as she placed her head on his shoulder slightly.
"There we go. That settles it then."
"Filius, I was hoping to find you in the Three Broomsticks."
"No, emergency choir practice, I'm afraid, Horace," Filius said towards Slughorn.
