"Without you, we wouldn't get to know our baby. We're going to be fucking parents!" James screamed so loud that Bonnie had to shush him with a laugh.

James pulled away from the crying females to walk over to Sirius. He nudged Sirius's shoulder. "C'mon, mate. Wake the bloody hell up! Our baby needs his or her godfather!"

Bonnie, still cradling Lily in her arms as the red-head laid her hands against her flat stomach, smiled as James continued to talk to Sirius about all of the godfatherly duties he would have.

"You'd be the godmother, right?" Lily whispered when James had finally calmed down. "It's because of you that we'll be able to live with our child, you know."

Bonnie hugged Lily tighter, James joining after a few moments. Bonnie caught James tearing up again. "Of course, I will. I can't wait."

James whooped loudly, fist pumping the air behind the two girls he was holding to his chest.

"I can't join the love-fest? I'm wounded, Prongs," a raspy voice croaked out.

"PADFOOT!" James screamed, gently nudging his pregnant wife and Bonnie aside to practically throw himself onto Sirius.

Lily wiped her happy tears just as more fell as the reunion of James and Sirius. Bonnie was smiling so much, feeling so much relief that he was okay. She backed out of the room to get the Healer. The Healer had given Bonnie a clipboard, saying Lily could check over him since they were very busy. Lily had passed all of her exams, and she was still working on her training for higher medical emergencies. This was just checking Sirius's vitals.

Walking back in, she saw Sirius's face pressed against Lily's stomach—going back and forth from his ear to his lips as he spoke and tried to listen for a reply. James and Lily were just watching in amusement.

"Hey, godson. This is the best person you'll ever meet," Sirius said, eyes trained on Bonnie. "She's your godmother, and she saved the world so you don't have to. Isn't she great?"

Bonnie snorted at his adorable face. She handed the clipboard to Lily. "Gene said for you to check his vitals. They are busy."

"Too busy for me?" Sirius scoffed. "I see. I rather Lilyflower anyway."

James grinned as he watched his beautiful wife work on checking Sirius. Once Sirius seemed in perfect health, Lily said she would go find Healer Gene to get Sirius discharged. James followed her like a lost puppy.

Bonnie took their place on the side of the bed, hand reaching out to caress Sirius's cheek. "I thought I lost you, Siri."

"Like hell," Sirius murmured, moving his face to kiss Bonnie's palm. "I'm just sorry I kept you waiting so long. I tried to wake up when I heard Max talking. The little bugger is loud, you know?"

Bonnie laughed and nodded. "Took Lily getting pregnant for you to wake."

"You don't become a godfather everyday!"

Bonnie grinned. "He'll be my third godson," she whispered with an amused glint in her eye.

"Well, I'm going to live longer than your past life. I'll have many more," Sirius proclaimed. He pulled Bonnie's hand to make her trip onto his bed. He grinned smugly, kissing her firmly on the lips. "Let me tell you how hot you were fighting Voldemort. I may have been dying, but I appreciated the view from my spot on the ground—Ow!"

Bonnie flicked his nose with a loud laugh. "You're impossible!"

"Impossible!? No, you mean impressive, important, im-amazing, im-wonderful—"
