i felt the pain of losing you
i felt it deep in my heart
the ache of no longer feeling you
it hurt
and i wanted the pain gone
but then i didn't
i thought the pain was all that i had left of you
i thought the pain was the only reminder of ever knowing you
so when the pain started fading
and i was no longer hurting
i thought i'd forget you
but oh how wrong i was
