i turned around and saw mattia. shit. he looked like he could kill someone right now.

"hey mariano, we need to talk" was the first thing he said

"what mattia" mariano rolled his eyes and turned around

"i was just wondering why my best friend hasn't talked to me in days?"

my heart dropped, yes i've admitted it to myself but to hear him actually say that really hurt. it was all my fault, and for what? a boy? i already lost one friend group for a boy, i couldn't do another one.

"maybe she isn't your best friend anymore buddy" mariano scoffed

"woah, baby, i wouldn't say that" i said putting my hand on his chest

"well i would" he put his hand around my waist

"y/n? really?" mattia said, tears nearly falling down his face

"no, NO, not really, mar this is bullshit" i said taking his hand of my waist

"REALLY? YOU KNOW WHATS BULLSHIT IS YOU KISSING MY GIRLFRIEND" he pointed at alejandro

"hey she didn't push me away" ale chuckled

i tried not to, but i let out a laugh. i mean it is true, i didn't push him away. he was a really good kisser.

"REALLY Y/N??" mar yelled at me

"HEY DON'T YELL AT HER" mattia yelled at mar

"I'LL DO WHATEVER THE HELL I WANT" he yelled back

"YOUR NOT GONNA TREAT HER LIKE THAT" ale yelled

"your really getting on my last nerve" mar scoffed

at the moment, i was scared. i wanted to go with ale, mattia, and kairi because i knew they cared for me. i was really rethinking if mar even gave a shit about me.

"cmon mar, lets go" i said trying to pull him away

"no, these guys are assholes" he refused

"so we're the assholes here? your the one putting her through trauma JUST LIKE VINNIE" mattia yelled

"I WILL NEVER DO THAT TO HER" mariano replied

"NO YOU KNOE WHAT YOUR NOT, atleast vinnie loved her"

and that one sentence made mariano madder than i have EVER seen him.

he kissed his teeth,  moved me behind him, and punched mattia right in the face.

he put NO breaks in his fist. he didn't give a shit if he killed him.

"vinnie was WAY better" mattia chuckled holding his face

"mattia, shut your fucking mouth" i scolded him

"yeah mattia" mar laughed

"YOUR NO BETTER THAN HIM" i yelled at mariano

"what did you just say?"

he walked so close to me my back hit the locker

"ccan...can we just go?" i stuttered

"go where baby?" he put a hand on the locker

"a..way.. away"

"get the fuck off her" mattia pushed mar away from me

"remember shes MY girlfriend NOT yours" mar chuckled

"i mean actually, if you wanna be realistic, she's vinnies and we all know damn well he would be ALL of our ass's if he knew this was happening" alejandro added

"SHE'S NOT A FUCKING OBJECT" mattia yelled right before he punched the shit out of mariano

it didn't even budge mar, something about him was so strong.

"cmon y/n" mar grabbed my wrist

"OWW" i winced grabbing my hand back

"YO WHAT THE FUCK?" the boys yelled at the same time

"babe.. babe i'm so so sorry" mariano tried to hug me

i backed away, getting flashbacks from my dad. i looked at him with so much hatred in my eyes. i wasn't gonna let him me AND my best friends;

"mar i think you need to go"

"w..what?"

"just go"

i turned around and walked out of the building with mattia and alejandro. i don't know if this was for the best, but i know i needed to be safe. as much as i tell myself that i like him, maybe even love him, maybe it was false.

i just really needed love.

a/n: so i was thinking after this book i make like a spin-off story to this where after the first fight with vinnie (chapter 1) she ends up going back to him.

kinda like there life together? because i'm also writing "the killer" but hopefully by the time i publish the first part of it, most of the book is done.
