Distorted Polygons

a slow walk through the valleys of nature
gliding through a dream I can draw on paper
this abstract feeling that comes from within
the soul that rests in our very own skin
a life that is seen through one's eyes is sacred
who knows what they have clearly seen naked
exposed at a vulnerable time then
they opened their heart to all the wise men
I listen to the universe around
tuning my direction to each soft sound
my fragile psyche fights to hold on more
the power is hidden beneath my one core
a quiet person has a concert inside
in their element, they wave with the tide
I continue my trek through this green land
what is right here and now is very grand
these placid areas sing a calm tune
a promise of a new hope begins so soon
there is a very good chance that someone knows
we immerse in art, created with flow
I stop in front of the building near me
observing the landscape with its dead trees
this world is a very strange place
we see new things in the paths we do trace
these small lines and shapes dance in my vision
both clash in a display of brilliant collision
the spark that lit the match on fire
a passion that motivates her desire
bouncing off of each other like tennis balls
this electric friction twirls and falls
the vortex descends, showing its display
a beautiful look into a mind that day
what treasures lurk in this vast space of wonders?
the power that is respected by thunder
ether extends between reality
and what could be, from the soul's symphony
I heave a sigh in this breath of fresh air
embracing the sights around me that care
this place is a spectacle to witness
this energy lives on, like in weights and fitness
I close this passage for another day spent
millions of lives that travel for rent
let's all watch over their new beginning
we lose, we fail... then we are winning
your rewards will be greater than your trials
if you appreciate something, show a smile
our balance is restored once again
for a new dawn, where we will soon ascend...
