The wake up call I had was from out of my cave
It was the bright colors that shined like a neon rave
Who I am now versus who I used to be
is always changing throughout this journey
We make an immense amount of development
to see how far we've come from the firmament
I seek the desires that I have always yearned for
I ascend from my bed to pursue that glowing orb
Hoping that my daily routine is worth
All this time spent on this spinning rock of an earth
The green that is from the heavens is just brown
as he watches this creation fall in and drown
But there are stars despite the encompassing void
that remind us to search for what we've enjoyed
I often wonder if my memories still remain
In the mind of the region that is my brain
and I often wonder how I can preserve what is lost
in a sea of millions that forever do cross
What does matter is the things that we recall
These charms of delight from spring to fall
No one will ever understand my true thoughts
but I guess it's worth taking a shot
My intentions are to enhance this experience
The abstractions turn into words from darkness
Channeling my energy to pieces of art
that naturally flow on the canvas from my heart
I wait to write my next one for months
in order to refine my skill for these fronts
During the solitude of meditation I take
I keep thinking about what else to make
Entering the forest to the dawn of today
Embracing the shades of color that do not decay
The past or future is irrelevant, only now
is the time where the current flows somehow
But it is happening and you are reading this
So let's keep climbing out of this deep abyss
Until the next time our sun will rise,
may this poem help a person save their life...
