(Y/n) POV

-in your dream-

"Aether!" I ran closer to him and Paimon. "Hm?" He turned to face me, a shade of anger was placed on his face. "Why did you leave be back where we had camp? I thought we would head ba-" "please stop talking." Aether said, a strong tone. "W-what?" I stood there shocked and confused.

"I said to be quiet. Your more annoying then Paimon is emergency food joke." Aether gave a glare along with Paimon. "Y-your joking right? We used to make that joke for fun, you liked it." I steeped foward, quickly stepping back after he drew his sword. "Please we don't like you (Y/n). I lied about how I loved you." "Yeah!" Paimon said floating away with Aether. I felt tears welt up in my eyes, moving down my cheeks once I blinked. "D-don't go.."

3d POV

The world faded at the edges of his vision, jolting to an upright position. The sky littered with stars, and a very frightened (Y/n). "Hm..?" A tired groan cam from the blond male, resting against his arms. "A-Aether. Did I wake you?" (Y/n) asked trying to contain his tears. "N-not really, are you ok?"

"Ahh, you don't need to worry about me just a nightmare.." (Y/n) was pulled quickly into a hug from Aether. "You should have said something sooner." (Y/n) let out a tired laugh, sighing heavily after. "Sorry.."

"Hey, (Y/n) you have nothing to be sorry for ok." Aether said quite forcefully. (Y/n) nodded, being pulled closer. "Um Aether..?" (Y/n) looked at him, "Would you leave me?" He asked. The blonde kissed (Y/n)'s forehead. "I would never do that, I couldn't." He reassured (Y/n), having his face be a shade of pink.

"Y-you don't think I'm annoying?" (Y/n) asked, gaining a tired sigh. "(Y/n), I love you. You're not annoying one bit, whatever happened in your nightmare won't come true." Aether patted (Y/n) head, smiling a warm and welcoming one. (Y/n) nodded, rusting their head on Aether's shoulder.

"Alright." (Y/n) yawned, having Aether laugh quietly. "Sleep my Prince Charming." He said, laying down with (Y/n) on his chest. Both fell asleep, smiling.
