Chapter 39

Hugo's POV
"How is she now?" I asked as I walked into the room seeing Sofia lying on the bed

"I just called the royal doctor" Miles said as he also just walk into the room "He will be here soon"

"Great" Amber said while holding Sofia's hand

"I-I need to inform my family first" Amber stood up "Can someone please help me to look after her?"

"I can" I said

"You? What are you doing here anyways?" she said while looking at me

"I allowed him to follow us" Coraline said

"You know what we'll talk about this later" Amber said as she walks out of the room

The girls follow her as well, leaving Clio and Miles with me in the room

"So now why are you here anyways?" Clio ask "Didn't you just push her away just now?"

"I...."

"I.... Was just.... It was...."

"Why are you scared buddy" Miles said "It's not like we would eat you up"

"I like Khole okay" I said "What Sofia did was nonsense"

Clio gasped

"How could you say that" she said

"What do you mean?" I said "I've been with Khole for months already"

"When can you f*cking snap out of it?!" Clio said angryly

"What's wrong with you? Snap out of what?" I said with confusion

"Guys keep it down" Miles said "I'll go out and check for the doctor please do not make any sound"

With that Miles went out of the room. While Clio was just looking at me.

"Are you gonna explain?" I asked

"Nope, I'm not the one that should explain" she said while looking at Sofia. "She's the one that could only explain to you"

What's going on? It's so confusing....

A few minutes later 
"I'm back, the doctor is here too" Miles walk in

The doctor then went to check on Sofia. He took out he's stethoscope and some equipment to check on Sofia.

"There's nothing wrong with her. She was just having some emotional stress" the doctor said as he look at us

"Emotional stress? But what would have happen?" Clio asked

"Yes, she just need some rest and she'll wake up soon"

"Thank you doctor" I said

"Just don't stress her out once she's awake" the doctor said as he look at ud and then walk out the room with a smile

"Phew luckily there's nothing serious" Miles said as he let out a breath

"Ok, I just contacted my family" Amber said as she walk in "Is the doctor here yet?"

"He just left not long ago" Miles said

"So what did he say?"

"Sofia passed out due to emotional stress" Clio said

"Is this anything serio-ous?" Amber asked worriedly

"No there's nothing serious" I said "She.... will be awake soon"

"Thank goodness" Amber said as she went over to Sofia's bed

"Hugo we need to talk" Miles said as he walk towards me "Alone"
