"Teacher Julie!!" Lexine said and ran to Julie and hugged her.
What. The. Fuck. What are they doing here? Ang sabi ni ate, they'll be having brunch in Tagaytay and mamaya pa silang gabi uuwi. Why are they here?
"Uhm... G-good morning po." Julie greeted Ate Ynna and Kuya Tim. Ate smiled at her and even kissed her cheek while kuya just smiled and gave her a nod. Lexine on the other hand is still hugging Julie.
"Teacher, what are you doing here? Did I do something bad in school?" she asked Julie. The four of us laughed and Lexine just looked at us curiously.
"Honey, Teacher Julie is ninong's friend." Ate Ynna said. "Have you guys eaten? Sorry, Moses. Di kami natuloy sa Tagaytay because of the bad weather there." she explained.
"Uhm... Okay lang. Di pa kami kumakain eh. May food pa ba?"
"Tito Tim brought pizza and pasta and doughnuts!" Lexine cheered. I carried her and she squealed.
"Doughnuts?! I thought you're not allowed to eat dougnuts?" I teased her.
"Hahaha. Ninong, I'm allowed kaya." she giggled.
"Teach-- er... Julie, maupo ka na. Kumain na kayo ni Elmo okay? May food pa diyan and there's more sa kitchen." Ate Ynna said.
"Kain na." Kuya Tim said then he looked at me. "You. Balcony. Now." he said and then walked to the balcony.
I followed him there and closed the sliding door. He was silent for a moment as he downs his beer bottle. Then he looked at me and cleared his throat.
"Teacher Julie?" he asked. "Your new woman is Lexine's teacher?"
"Hey, I met her even before I knew she was Lexine's teacher." I said. "And besides, hindi pa naman kami. Nanliligaw pa lang ako."
He snickered then opened another bottle of beer.
"Nanliligaw? The last time I checked, hindi ka nanliligaw ng babae. Nanunulot ka."
"Kuya..."
"I don't need your goddamn explanations about Mina, Elmo." he said. "Karma mo na siguro si Julie. Pahirapan ka sana niya."
"Ano bang gusto mong iparating? Look, Mina was the one who..."
"I said, I don't need your goddamn explanations!! You ruined us already. Sinira mo na ang relasyon namin. And now she's gone. Salamat bro ha? Kapatid ka nga." he said bitterly.
"I don't get it. Bakit galit na galit ka when in fact, I never really liked her. She was the one who came to me and tried seducing me. Subukan mo kasing makinig sa akin kuya. Napakasarado ng isip mo dahil ang pinakinggan mo lang was her explanation. You really think I will fuck her when I know na mahal na mahal mo siya?!" nagulat ako when he threw a punch at me.
"Oh my god, Timothy!!!" I heard Ate Ynna said. I felt Julie and Lexine kneeling beside me while Ate Ynna pushed Kuya Tim. "Anong problema mo? Maayos na dumating si Elmo dito bakit kailangan mo siyang suntukin?!"
"Pagsabihan mo yang kapatid mo ha. Napakasinungaling!" Kuya Tim yelled and bursted out of the condo.
"Okay ka lang?" Julie asked as she held my face. She looked worried and I can even see a tear falling. "Anong masakit sayo?"
"I-I'm fine. Andito ka naman. Okay lang ako." I answered.
"Babanat pa eh. Dagdagan ko yan gusto mo?" she said and even showed me her fist. I laughed and touched her hand. She and Lexine helped me get up and we all entered the unit.
