District Five Gamemaker Sessions

Today when I woke up I didn't get the feeling that something was going to go horribly wrong, like I had on that Reaping Day, but it didn't feel like something was going to go entirely right either. That's why I was very nervous to go in for my Gamemaker Session. I was the first person to go in from a district that wasn't a career one.
As reluctant as I was, I went in anyway. I picked up a sword and swung it around at things, slicing everything that was in my way in half. It was exhausting, but I continued on. I then pretended I was fencing with an invisible being, waited until they dismissed me, and left.

When I went in to see the Gamemakers I already knew what the girl from my district had showed them. We had trained together since we both preferred the sword. I also knew that I had more talent with it than she did.
I surveyed the damage done to the room and smiled. I could do more than that. I picked up the sword and went through the same movements as Nicole had done, but I knew I was doing it better. It was proven as I caught a glimpse of their faces before I left the room. Quite a few were smiling at me.
