Throughout that week, Nini had been avoiding anything to do with Ricky. She stopped hanging out with her friends since they would hang out with Ej, Gina and Ricky. Instead she would hang out with Connor and they would go elsewhere for lunch.
During Mazzara's math class, Ricky and Nini still sat next to each other as it was their seating plan but Nini still didn't talk to him. During the lessons she would just pay attention to her teacher and when they were given time to do work, she would wear her headphones to avoid conversation.
