"It's... it's from Dick."
She narrowed her eyes and picked it up. "Dear Dawn and Y/n, I know it's been years since we... disbanded for the second time. Years since you've seen me. But there's a new threat and the League can't handle it alone. They need the Titans. Come to the old tower in three days if you want to survive," she read aloud "'with importance, Dick Grayson.' I don't think you can sign a letter like that..." she tried to joke.
"We have to," I said "it's- we have to save people."
"Baby... we gave up that lifestyle-"
"The League can't handle it alone. We have to help," she must have seen the tears streaming down my face, because her's instantly softened. She nodded.
So three days later I was donning my Mockingjay suit and paying my respects to Donna's WonderBelt. I let a single tear slip past my eye mask, there was a good chance Dawn wouldn't come out of this alive. There was a good chance I wouldn't, a good chance no one would.
