My school doesn't have school for the next month since the hostage. They said someone got killed or whatever.
*Knock Knock Knock*
"Come in" Chris comes in and he sat on my bed. He looked like a completely different person. His eyes was red as fuck. It looked like he didn't sleep in days. I wonder what's on his mind..
"Chris you okay?" I say rubbing my hand in a circular motion on his back
"Mya I can't do it. I can't man, I need need a break" he says breaking down. He layed his head on my shoulder as he cried.
"Chris everything will be okay. You're tough, you got this." I say trying to comfort him
"Mya I'm too young!"
"Chris baby just listen. I got you if nobody got you. I'm never gonna judge you. Chris you have to take it day by day. Get yourself organized and in order."
I really did feel bad for Chris. He's 17 and worried about if he's gonna live to see tomorrow. I just don't know how he does it. I would've been gave up on myself and on life.
"KIDS!" We both jump up and ran downstairs.
"Yeah?" I ask
"I have something to tell you." Maurice says with a serious facial expression making me nervous.
"Wh-what is it?"
"WERE GOING TO HAWAII!" My mom and Maurice says screaming and jumping up and down

I put on a brave face. I'm supposed to be looking for grandpa. If it ain't one thing it's another. Soon as I was about to tell Amya about us getting grandpa I got a text.

How can you text from a all zero number? Whatever... I already knew who it was. It was Kae duhh. They said we start packing tonight. We'll be in Hawaii for two weeks. Kae better know I'm not going down without a fight. I may be weak now but I will get up. Hawaii should be a good setting for me to get my head straight.
