I really felt relieved upon knowing that everything went fine after the meeting of the Five Families. Nothing's been hurt and the members of the street gangs from New York City and Bronx didn't bother to go here to know what was the conference about. If you are asking me what was that, I haven't got any idea as well and I don't want to know what is it either. 

After that conference, Skylar also returned with his father to the States. He just really sneaked in to see me and meet Kayleigh. Before he left, I instruct him not to ask Luccheses for help regarding Kayle's situation to avoid any troubles because I want to fix everything on my own. 

"Thanks for the invite, Mikko. I missed your Mom and Suri." Lind said. Yes, I invited her for a teatime. A forced invite literally that has been mentioned by her Mom. I'm really fed up on her being spoiled by Tita Carrie. 

I slightly nodded and ate a slice of cheesecake. I did not also bother for an answer. It makes me sick. 

"How's Kayle. I heard the news. I pity her." Worries came all over her face. 

"Well there's nothing to be pity about. If I discovered that human being who framed her up, I'll break that person's bone into ashes." I simply replied without taking my sight out of her eyes. 

Lind can't look into my eyes straightly and she's stuttering. "She won't graduate. I.. I-I personally know Kayleigh's Dean on her School. I'll ask if they can do something about that so she won't be expelled."

I smiled tricky. "Oh, that's brilliant of you Lindsay! Hope you can use your connections just to let that not happen." I know I am stating full mockery here. 

She laughed forcely. "I will try...my best."

I really don't know why Lind changed into something that she's not. This is actually resulted her for being stubborn and spoiled. 

"By the way have you passed your requirements and exams?" I asked her while chewing chocolate chip cookies. 

She nodded. "Of course. Everything went fine since I'm only just getting teaching units so there's nothing to worry about."

"I am not worried."

Damn this bullshit! Why can't I get serious answers and information about Kayleigh's frame up incident? All of them says they don't know anything or telling me that I need to ask their Dean about that. I'm frustrated to pieces!

"Pasensya na Mikko ha. Wala kasi akong alam doon saka hindi ko naman kilala 'yung girlfriend mo sa personal. Nakita ko lang siya dito nung kinausap siya ng Dean." Sagot nung SA (Student Assistant) na si Raina. She was an ex of my friend so I know her. 

Marahan akong tumango. "Ganoon ba? Wala ba siyang nasabi sa'yo na kahit ano? 'Yung tungkol sa cheating incident? Basta kahit ano lang na alam mo." Alam kong desperado na ako. Eala talaga akong mahanap na sagot e. 

Umiling siya. "Sorry talaga pero wala ding sinasabi sa akin 'yung Dean. Kung may mabanggit man siya, I'll let you know."

Shit, wala talaga akong mahita sa mga nakakausap ko! Ayoko namang mag-bribe kasi ayokong haluan ng kabulastugan ang bagay na 'to. 

"Sige, Raina pasensya na talaga sa istorbo ha. Kailangan ko lang kasi mapatunayan na wala siyang kinalaman sa cheating na 'yun. Salamat." Tapos umalis na ako. I really might consider asking the Mafia for help kahit ang kapalit pa nito ang pagsali ko sa kanila.

"Mikko!"

Napansin ko na lang na tumatakbo palapit sa akin si Kayleigh habang umiiyak. Nasa lounge ako ng School of Philosophy kasama ang mga barkada ko. 

Yumakap siya sa akin at doon ituloy ang pag-iyak. "Hey, what happened?" I asked her softly. 

Tinignan niya ako. "Mikko. Nakapagdecide na raw ang Student Regent. Mae-expel na ako. Hindi na ako makakagraduate!"

Natigilan ako sa sinabi nila. What the! I knew it! Maeexpel na nila si Kayle bago ko pa malaman kung sino ang may pakana ng nangyari!

"What the fuck! Impossible!" Bumitaw ako kay Kayleigh at sa inis ko nasuntok ko 'yung pader at sinipa 'yung mga benches. Inawat ako bg mga barkada ko. 

"Pare tama na 'yan baka ma-DA (disciplinary action) ka."

"Wala kong pakialam! I-expel na rin nila ako kung gusto nila. Tangina talaga!" Galit na galit talaga ako sa nangyari. 

Wala na ako talagang pakialam sa kahit anong awards o honors ang ibigay nila sa akin. Just yesterday I was given the news of the only Summa Cum Laude of our batch with the GPA of 1.06 then they'll just gonna threw out my girlfriend of this school because if false accusations? Fuck 'em all!

"Mikko..." Hinawakan ako ni Kayle sa balikat at nilingon ko siya. Natakot ko ata dahil nagulat siya sa 'other side' expression ko. I am back at black and dark. 

Hindi ako nag-respond sa sinabi niya at naglakaf ako palayo sa kanya at sa kanila. Sinundan ako ni Kayleigh. 

"Mikko, saan ka pupunta? The damage has been done. I'm going to be expelled! Tanggapin na lang natin 'to. Wala na tayong magagawa..." I know she's very upset and sad but I feel useless 'coz I haven't done a thing that could help her. 

I cupped her face with my hands, still with the 'other side' eyes and facial expression. 

"Everything will be fine alright? Just wait for me at the car. Here's the key." 

ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I know I won't be getting any ethics here but I just entered the Student Regent's Office. 

"What brings you here Mr Shadows?" I know for 
sure that this is the School of Interior Design's Dean. Ngiting aso pa ang gago. Ang sarap bigwasan!

"Are you here to say 'thank you' because you are the sole Summa Cum Laude on this batch?" Tanong naman nung isang board na mukhang DOM. Ngiting aso pa. Nakakairita. 

"No need for me to say thank you. Naging Summa Cum Laude ako ng dahil sa sarili kong kakayahan hindi dahil sa nandaya ako." Direcho kong sagot sa kanila. 

"So what's the reason why you're here? Is there anything we can help?" 'Yung CEO naman ng Asters ang nagtanong sa akin. 

"Revoke the expulsion you gave to Kayleigh Emma-Marie de Guzman of School of Interior Design and I'll step down from being a Summa Cum Laude." 

Nagtawanan naman ng pagak ang buong board. Nagsalita muli 'yung Dean nila Kayle. "Are you playing a hero for your girlfiend, Mr Shadows?"

"No. It simply because she did not cheat. I know her." I seriously said. 

"We have all the evidences that leads her to the cheating incident, Mr Shadows. 'Wag mo nang pagtakpan ang mali." 

"Hindi ko pinagtatakpan ang mali. She's innocent in this fiasco." Mariing sabi ko. Hindi pwedeng lumabas ako dito nang hindi nalilinis ang pangalan ni Kayleigh. 

"Kung inosente siya Mr Shadows, sino ang may pakana niyon?"

Third Person //

New York City, New York

Naglalaro ng Assassin's Creed si Skylar sa kanyang iMac sa library ng kanilang bahay nang may kumatok sa pintuan. 

"Come in."

Pumasok ang dalawang lalaking naka-americana at binati si Skylar. Itinigil niya muna ang paglalaro. 

"Have you got all the information I needed, Andolini?" Tanong niya. 

"Yes, Sky. These are all complete. Just let me know if there's anything missed. I'll ask the associates to go back to the Philippines and have that sorted." Sagot ni Andolini, isang caporegime ng Lucchese Crime Family. 

Umiling si Sky. "No that's fine. By the way thanks for helping me out and not telling this to Papa. I'll be dead if he knows this." Tumawa siya. 

"You have us entered in your petty fights. It is really funny." Nakitawa na rin si Alejandro Vespucci, isang lawyer at ang consiglieri ng pamilya. Ito ang kanang-kamay ni Domenico Lucchese-Castellano ang Mafia boss. 

"This is not just a petty fight, Uncle Al. This concerns Mikko Shadows." Simpleng sagot niya. 

"I know. And we all know for a fact that Reikko's son doesn't want to be involved in this kind of business. Why do this for him? And why are you doing this? Don't you two have 'codes' and one of it is not entering the 'family business'?" Tanong ni Andolini. 

"Of course. I know all of it Andolini. I just want to help him out because he don't want your help anyway. He's deeply in love with her girlfriend and will do anything to make her name cleared and be innocent. I've seen his devotion and seriousness with this girl so why not help him?" Paliwanag niya. 

Tumango ang dalawang lalaki. "Well I could say Mikko got smitten by the thing called love." Natatawang sabi ni Andolini. 

"Indeed. What a fucking heroic deed by that young man. He's really Reikko Shadows' son." Si Uncle Al naman ang nagsalita. 

Matapos ang ilang sandali, lumabas ng rin ng study ang dalawa. Sinimulan naman ni Skylar ang pagbukas ng mga files na binigay sa kanya nina Andolini at Uncle Al. 

Mula sa mga papel, nakasulat doon na walang kasalanan si Kayleigh at talagang na-frame up lang siya ng mga kaklase nito dahil sa inggit sa relasyon nila ni Mikko. Ipinasak niya ang usb at pinakinggan ang recording doon. 

Pamilyar kay Skylar ang boses na narinig. 

"I was the mastermind of the cheating incident! Yes! I admit it. So would you just fucking get your hands off me!"

"Would you think Mikko Shadows will come to you if his girlfriend cheated on exams?"

Walang respond sa loob ng ilang segundo. 

"I don't care! I just want to destroy Kayleigh. She's a bitch."

Tapos naputol na ang recording. Tapos na rin ang paghahanap kung sino ang may pakana ng lahat.

Usap-usapan sa Asters ang expulsion ni Kayleigh na hindi na natuloy dahil sa in-offer ko sa Board. Sinabi ko sa kanila na ako ang tumulong kay Kayle tungkol sa kodigo pero hindi nila ako pinayagan.
