South Central high is the only public high school in Los Angeles. With all of the shootings and violence, they had many budget cuts and could not afford to keep all the schools. The school district decided to put the little money they had left into making one school so it would save money. All the other schools were private and pricey so not many students went there.
Raven Young is a well known now senior at this high school. She is mainly known by her dad who is the biggest drug dealer of the LA streets and her older brother Keenon who followed in his footsteps. Her older sister, Teyanna, is working on becoming an actress and model so she isn't home often. Her mother, Lorraine was a bartender at a club which is how she met their father Andre back in the day.
Raven and her bestfriends Jayla, Rhyon and Jayda plan to graduate high school and become entrepreneurs. What will happen when people from the past pop up and things don't go as planned? Will any of the girls fall in love? Will it all work out? Or will they have to go through the Tough Love?
