If these 30 days were so long and taunting for amal how will she spend all her life with taha?

this one question often popped up in her mind.

Taha and amal spent the 30 days planning and preparing for the wedding,

a studio apartment type of room was built for them far away from the wing which has all the bedrooms.

amal and taha chose her wedding outfits,
everybody else chose their outfits,

decorations were finalised,

only thing left was amals iddat to end.

10 more days were left for Amal's iddat to end, and as terrified as amal was she knew she had to do it for taha.

samad on the other hand was miserable,
he would laugh and act normal infront of his father but from within he was dying more than he already was,

he took ambreens permission who didbt really care much and started taking care of Amal's house.

the house was back to what it was,
it was no longer a stranded building,

he placed every single thing back on its place just like it was,

he came everyday and watered the plants, cleaned the house, and did everything like he lives there, after he is done he leaves and come back next day and does the same thing.

sometimes he will go to amals room and cry for hours,

sometimes he will sit still like he froze on his spot for hours,

sometimes he'll start crying out of nowhere,

his health was a matter of concern,

he didnt eat properly,
he hadn't shaved ever since he woke up,
he was getting skinny than one should be,
he had huge bags under his eyes and dark circles,
his eyes were lifeless,
and his smile was fake.

10 more days passed.

after taha and amals wedding,
jenny was all set to leave this life behind and go to university where she will study photography and hopefully become a professional,

it was fun to watch dominic acting like a emotional father trying to spend as much time with her as possible, but he was also. trying to hide his fatherly affection, as it lowered down his level of 'cool' according to him.

and sidra?
well she was just being sidra.

they all were hanging out together when amal came and sat beside taha.

"taha I want to go to India once" she expressed her wish right away.

"before the wedding?" taha asked sittimg up straight and putting his phone aside paging full attention to her.

amal nodded in response.

"I cant take their blessings, I havent even seen their graves, i want to go once, I want to meet them, tell them that I am okay" amal's eyes tearing up at the thought of seeing her parents grave.
