"O--Oh! Nakangiti si Sir!" biglang bulalas ni Bonnie. "Woah! First time ko iyong nakita Sir, ah!" Dinig ko ang tuwa at pagkamangha sa boses niya.
I immediately stared at Odyssey to see what the fuss is all about.
Gusto kong makita ang ngiti niya! I think I've never seen him smile before!
But when I glanced at him.. He's back to being poker faced. Tinitigan ko nang masama si Bonnie.
He looked defensive. Namimilog din ang mata niya. Nakataas ang dalawang kamay.
"Totoo Ma'am! Nakita kong nakangiti talaga si Sir. Ulitin mo nga Sir!" Sabay lapit pa niya kay Ody.
The gorgeous man only remained emotionless while sitting on the sofa slightly far from me.
"Di'ba, Nay Lucia?" paghingi pa nito ng opinyon kay Nanay, nasa boses ang pakiusap.
Hindi makuntento na hindi ako naniniwala.
Natatawang tumango lang ang matanda.
Napailing ako sa reaksyon ni Bonnie. I can't blame him, though. Seeing Odyssey smile is a big achievement. Kahit ako'y pangarap kong mapatawa siya.
Sa tagal ko siyang kilala, I've never heard his laugh. I never knew the texture of his baritone voice when laughing. Or how his brown eyes would glint in mirth. It would have been a sight to see.
But I don't think he smiled because of the teasing. Wala akong makitang rason bakit siya mangingiti dahil sa sinabi ni Nay Lucia.
"Naku, tama na iyan. Halika at kumain muna kayo rito. Pati na rin ikaw, hijo." Imbita ni Nay Lucia sabay kaway pati kay Odyssey.
"Ok po." He nodded.
My eyes widened. His eyebrows shot up while staring at me. I didn't expect he would say yes. Ngunit baka nga naman gutom na siya.
I'm such an idiot. Ni hindi ko man lang ma-appreciate ang ginagawa niya. Siya pa naman ang nag-asikaso para sa paglabas ko!
Si Odyssey na iyan, Cleopatra!
He brought you home and took care of you in the hospital. He's almost there everyday eventhough he's running an empire!
How lucky could you get? Isn't it one of your childhood dreams before?
Siguro nga ay naapektuhan ako sa pagkabaril ko kaya't hindi iyon nag sink-in sa akin ng ilang araw. Gusto kong mapatulala sa naisip.
"Come on.." He suddenly woke me up from my reverie.
He offered his hand. Slowly, I put mine in his. My cheeks turning red.
Wala sa sariling tumango ako habang pasulyap-sulyap sa kanya.
Look at that, he didn't even forget to help me while my bodyguard was already on his way to the dining room.
Our living room is spacious, with a medium sized chandelier. The white mixed with gold interior emits relaxing and homey ambience. The marbled floor is laided with carpet at the center.
A huge family portrait of the three of us, my mom, dad and me is at the center. Mapait akong napangiti. Too many memories knocks at my head but I didn't mind them.
Napasunod ang tingin ko kay Bonnie na nauuna na sa hallway.
I shook my head in disappointment with Bonnie's attitude. Mas bodyguard pa yata si Odyssey kaysa sa kanya.
