Cleopatra

I woke up in the right side of the bed so I feel good that morning. I think the sun looks so glorious that it shines so brightly in my eyes. I even have the energy to greet my co-workers that I've walked through when I entered the company.

Nginitian ko rin si Manong Andoy na nagtitinda ng taho sa may gilid ng kompanya. Of course, bumili rin ako. Pandagdag kita na rin iyon sa kanya. I even brought him some groceries which I brought last week that I haven't used. Hindi naman kasi ako marunong magluto. Puro prito lang ang alam ko.

Definitely, this is my day.

Or so I thought..

I knocked at Odyssey's office while all smiles. Maaga rin ako ngayong araw and I know he doesn't have any reason to scold me. It's been too long since I've been this positive.  I am always sad and I just thought I'd better change my perspective.

I have a choice to be happy and I have to do it for myself.

Nakapinta pa ang magandang ngiti ko nang pumasok ako sa opisina.

Only for it to be wiped off with the scene I just arrived.

"Wtf!" I cussed loudly.

My face showed astonishment as I take in what I'm seeing in front of me.

Isang babaeng nakahubad pang itaas at walang saplot o underwear man lang ang nabungaran ko. Napatakip siya sa hinaharap nang buksan ko ang pinto. But to no avail dahil biniyayaan siya sa aspetong iyon.

Hindi naman siya mukhang nabigla sa pagdating ko dahil nakataas kilay pa siya habang nakatitig sa akin like she's saying na istorbo ako.

"Miss Larraza." Untag sa akin ni Odyssey.

Like the woman, he doesn't seem flustered at all. He's still emotionless.

Am I the only sane here! Ako pa ba dapat ang mag-adjust? Nahiya naman ako sa kanilang dalawa!

Kumakabog ng malakas ang dibdib ko habang tila umiinit ang pakiramdam. I felt like I'm going to explode in rage here!

So I breathed in deeply. I don't want to throw rage in here when I don't have the right to feel bad. I calmed myself down.

"Have I disturbed something, Sir?" I sarcastically asked him.

"No. Miss Revalos here is about to go."

I looked at her and I almost grimaced at when she didn't even try to wear something to hide her half nudity.

Ibalandra ba naman sa harap ko ang kahubaran niya? No thanks, hindi ko naman hinahangad magkaroon ng ganyan kalaking dibdib! Hindi nga ako nainggit kay Chrysanthemum na very gifted sa aspetong 'yan. I almost rolled my eyes.

"But-- baby! We're just about to start!" Halos patiling saad ng babae.

She's even stomping her feet like a kid.

Start what? Tumalim ang tingin ko sa babae sa harap ko.

"Please, just stop this craziness, Mis Revalos. As you can see, I am not going to let you harrass me again. Please, wear your clothes and go. And don't come back. You always do this. If you do it again, I have no other choice left to do but ban you in this company." Tila sumasakit ang ulo at malamig na turan ni Odyssey.

Tahimik lang ako habang nakikinig sa kanila. Kung kanina ay naiinis ako. I'm slightly calmed knowing nothing happened.

Dapat kasi lumabas ka na lang, Cleopatra! It's so awkward here! Kung hindi ka naman kasi isa at kalahating tanga, papanoorin mo pa ang drama nilang dalawa!
