Ellie's POV:

Everyone ran for their lives.

I mean everyone.

It took just about three seconds for the entire place to evacuate and in those three seconds, the last two blasts sounded.

As soon as we were out, the whole building caught on fire. Like there was a huge cloud of fire that exploded.

Then a screamed reached our ears. A high pitched scream best to destroy ear drums.

"Isabelle is still inside!" Beth yelled.

"What?" Connor asked her.

"That's what I've been trying to tell you for the past few minutes! Isabelle is still inside!" She yelled again.

Aidan was already running to the front door before any of us had a chance to comprehend what she said.

My eyes widen. He was running into the fire.

"Aidan wait!" I have no idea who said that but whoever it was just voiced my thoughts.

Aidan's POV:

Holy! I'm never running inside a burning house ever again. It smells like... Well, it smells like something is burning but it is intensified.

"Isabelle!" I yelled trying to see where she was.

It was impossible to know see anything at all because j was surrounded by fire from all sides.

A wooden support of the roof fell down. I stepped back narrowly dodging it.

"Damn! I'm never doing this again." I muttered.

I looked around the burning place, fire surrounding me everywhere, trying to find Isabelle.

I cupped my mouth and yelled, "Isabelle!"

Finally I heard, "Help!"

My eyes widen. "Isabelle!" I yelled again as I moved towards the source of the sound.

"Help!" Her voice was much nearer now and was followed by a cough.

She's close.

"Isabelle! Where are you?" I asked looking around.

"Here." She yelled back but dissolved into coughs again.

I looked around more, dodging everything that was on fire. Finally, after what felt like forever, I saw a small hand tapping on the ground.

That was the only thing visible considering the rest of the person was hiding underneath a table that was covered with a table cloth.

I made a move towards it when a piece of wood came slamming down on top of that table.
