"Mom I don't wanna move! I wanna stay here with my friends and our family! This isn't even fair! He's a complete stranger! He could be a killer for all we know!" I argue
"Amya I don't wanna hear it! We're going to New York and that's final! Now go to your room!"
"Gladly!" I say stomping to my room to go finish packing. She don't even know this man! She only known him for two months. They met on a cruise ship for crying out loud! Now she wanna move in and get married. She say he has a son too. I wanna stay here in Chicago! She changed her whole life for man she doesn't even know!
*Next Morning*
"Amya wake up before we miss our flight!"
"Whatever!" I respond
"Amya Marie Jones, If you make me have to come up there things aren't gonna be pretty!" I ain't even say nothing back. I don't have time for her bullshit.
This is my first time being on a plane so I'm kinda nervous. I'd rather crash and die in this plane then go to New York. I'm gonna just go to sleep.
"Mya Mya Honey, We're here!" My mom says shaking me. We get off and she starts running to this man hugging him. So I guess this is Maurice...
"Well Hello, you must be Amya." He says while approaching me.
"Yep, that's my name, and you are..?" I ask getting smart
"I'm Maurice, my son Christopher is somewhere in here.. nice to meet you." He laughs trying to break the ice
"Same here, I guess." I say in a dry tone
"Well let's get moving! This Airport gets packed quickly." Maurice says
"There's Chris" Maurice says point to a tall boy standing next to a vending machine.
He's okay looking or whatever. He's light skinned, about 6'1 with freckles and pink plumped lips. Not to mention his blonde hair.
Maurice calls him over. *sighs* I'm tired if meeting new people already. "Well Christopher this is Amya. Amya this is Chris."
"Sup" He says not even looking at me just texting away. I know me and him aren't gonna get along but I guess that's my Stepbrother.
