Ynoa's POV
Nanlaki ang mata ko nang bigla niya akong sugurin. Tumili ako nang tumakbo palayo sa kanya. Nadampot ko ang unan at ibinato sa kanya, sapul sa mukha! Natawa ako nang mas nagalit siya.
Nadampot ko din ang remote ng flat screen TV at ibinato sa kanya, nakailag naman at muling sinugod ako.
Nang nahagip ko ang pintuan ay dumiretso ako doon.
"Where the heck are you going? Come here!" He tried to catch me but I'm fast enough to get away.
Natatawa akong tumakbo palabas. Napatili ako nang binuhat niya ako.
"Put me down!!" Tili ko, parang sandbag niya akong binuhat at isinaklit sa kanyang balikat.
"Roemer!!" pagpupumiglas ko.
I can hear his laugh while trying to get a hold of me.
"Roemer, what's with the noise?" halos maumpog ako sa likod ni Roemer nang tumingin siya sa nagsalita. It was his mom.
"Nothing mom. We're fine." rinig kong sambit ni Roemer habang bitbit pa din ako.
"Mom, what's that?" I heard Rafael. Damn it!
"Oh, baba na tayo Raf. They seem busy here. Gagawa ata ng junior." Ani ng ina nila. It's a good thing I am not facing them! Because I don't know what I look like!
"Put me down!" I hissed. Rafael chuckled.
"You guys are wild." Rafael laughed. Next thing I heard was their footsteps.
Days passed by like a whirlwind. Hindi ko namalayan ang paglipas ng segundo nang kasama si Roemer at ang pamilya niya. The guilt I am feeling seems to grow each day. When I see Mom and Dad, I feel bad for lying at them. I don't have any right to call them that. And Dhelia, she had been so good to me.
"Roemer." I uttered when we're both sitting on the floor. We have been fighting for the bed everynight by tossing a coin.
"What?" He uttered innocently. He's wearing just a sando and boxers. Hindi ako kailanma'y masanay sanay sa kakisig ng kanyang katawan. His hair is in messy look while his eyebrows are almost touching.
His dark eyes showed my reflection, his lips are now in grim line. He always looked so serious in a sense that he seemed so hard and ruthless.
"Untill when are we going to lie?"
Napatigil siya sa tanong ko at nanatiling tahimik. Halos tumagos sa dibdib ko ng talim ng kanyang tingin.
He clenched his jaw. "Why?" he whispered.
