I don’t know what happened back there but seeing Mikee badly hurt makes me want to stay with him forever and ever and ever.
When I ask about how he’s feeling, he returns a bewildered smile. That doesn’t satisfy me so I wipe his face with my handkerchief.
Mikee is unusual today. I’ve noticed it. His sad expressions drag me down as well. He rejects my kindness and indirectly tells me to leave him alone.
He grabs his phone and dials a number.
As soon as he uttered that word, I begin walking out.
“Bianca…” Mikee says.
Why have I been so stupid? Did I really believe that Mikee’s flirty jokes were… more than what they really are?
I know that we’re close… friends. And a part of me feels that it’s my advantage. When he sees the real me, I’m kind of hoping that he’ll like me back.
But I’ve been so… blinded by hope that I forgot the truth.
He loves someone else. His heart is already captured.
And I’m his friend. Just his friend.
