“I’m so sorry.” Arin whispered as he sat at Matt’s bedside. He wasn’t sure what more he could say, or if the vocalist could even hear him. He wanted more than anything for his feelings towards the older man to be reciprocated, but he wasn’t sure if Matt would ever wake up. He hardly knew the man before this happened, and now, he didn’t know what he would do without him.

Nervously, cautiously, he placed his lips against Matt’s. He knew he shouldn’t he knew it wasn’t right, but he couldn’t help it. He had to.

Arin stood abruptly, rubbing the back of his neck, willing the butterflies in his stomach to calm down. “I-I… I guess I’ll just go. I’ll come visit you later, Matt, I promise.”
