Judith’s POV:
“Judith….”
“Judith…”
“Judith… ano ba ‘tong bruha na ‘toh… Oy hah! Puyat ka ba kagabi??”,
Narinig ko si Tin, ang kaibigan kong mahilig mambulahaw kapag umaga, actually, hindi lang pag umaga eh, pang whole day ang ingay ng malditang ‘toh…
“Oh, Celestine, ang aga aga pa eh…”, sabi ko habang nag sstretch..
“Oy, anong maaga pa?? it’s already 10 am, Katherine Judith Perez! Ano yan??, continue sa pambubulahaw si Tin..
“hah? Oh my! Magtatanghali na pala.. teka, anong ‘ano yan’?”, I told her.
“ayan oh..” sabay turo sa mga mata ko…, “hay grabe yang bagahe mo ah, i-check in mo na yan, hindi na yan kayang i-hand carry…”, Tin is referring to my eyebags, oo nga pala, umiyak nga pala ako kagabi, hanggang sa nakatulog na ako.
“ah eh.. kasi…”
“si Edward na naman? Oh, ilang beses ka na pinapaiyak ng lalaking ‘yan ah… ikaw naman kasi, wala kang kadala-dala eh..”, pagsesermon ni Tin.
“We broke up last night…”, I said.
“weh? Oh my dear.. ikaw ang nakipag break?”, Tin asked
“no, he did…”, I answered her, then I started to cry as I tell her the story.
***FLASHBACK***
After her work, Judith went home, and found Edward in the living room.
“Hi Babe! You didn’t tell me you’re coming..”, Judith told Edward.
“ahm, Judith, I just want to tell you something, I know I will be unfair to you kung patatagalin ko pa, I cannot stand seeing you cry even if you try to hide it from me, and I know it’s because of me…, He said.
“W..What do you mean?”, Judith asked.
“Judith, I…I ah.. I am really sorry.. I..I had an affair with someone, and she got pregnant..”, Edward admitted to Judith.
“ahm.. “, Judith was at a lost for words, and she begun to cry.
“Judith, I’m so sorry.. I have to go.. this has to end…. i…I now have a responsibility..” He said.
“do you love her?”, asked Judith
“ahm.. y..Yes, I think I do… I’m very sorry…” It was Edward’s final words, then he left Judith crying, sitting at the floor, defeated…devastated…. Iniwan siya ni Edward ng ganun ganun lang… so lame.. yun ang nasa isip ni Judith.
***END OF FLASHBACK***
It happened again, another guy cheated on her. Yes, Edward is not the first one who broke her heart.
“oh my.. sabi ko na nga ba, walang gagawing matino yang lalaking yan.. from the very beginning of your relationship, I knew there is something wrong… hindi ka nakinig sa’kin dahil masyado kang nabulag sa lalaking yun…”, litanya ni Tin kay Judith.
“I know sis.. I felt it too, but I chose to ignore it… I was so stupid!”, lalong umiyak si Judith.
“sige lang girl, ilabas mo lang lahat ‘yan… I’m just here…”, Tin comforts her.
After a few minutes…
“What happened here? Did someone die?...”, Helen arrived, one of Judith’s closest friends.
“oh, Helen, good thing you’re here.. ang lakas talaga ng radar mo girl!.”, Pagbati ni Tin kay Helen.
“Break na kayo ni Edward mo noh?, “, Helen asked Judith.
Judith just nodded while still crying…
“sabi ko na eh… nasaan yang hay*p na yan? Naku, huwag niyang subukang magpakita sa’kin, kundi manghihiram siya ng mukha sa aso!”, Helen said angrily.
“Oy, grabe ka talaga Helena! Kung magsalita ka dyan, para kang hindi babae ah! Basagulera ang peg ‘teh?”, Banat ni Tin kay Helen.
“Eh sino namang may sabi sayong babae yan si Helen, ha Celestine?”, sabat ni Anne na kadarating lang.
“nakakaloka kayo hah… tigilan nyo nga ako… Judith is the girl of the day.. siya ‘tong broken hearted eh.. she needs us now, tapos ako nanaman ang nakita nyo? Mga bruhang ‘toh…”, sabi ni Helen.
“That’s enough girls, kayo talaga… I’ll get better, don’t you worry.. this is not the first time I got my heart shattered…”, says Judith to Tin, Helen, and Anne.
“yes dear, surely, you’ll get better, even much better than before…”, says Anne.
The girls decided to have their hang-out para naman gumaan ang pakiramdam ni Judith, instead of going to a bar, they decided to go on a Roadtrip, they brought Helen’s car, at bago simulan ang roadtrip, dinaanan muna nila si Louise, ang friend nilang Becky.
And the five of them went on to their Roadtrip, they went to Subic, then to Tagaytay. (A/N: Oh diba, ang layo ng nararating ng mga bruha..)
Judith is an Architect, despite of her busy schedule, hobby pa rin niya ang mag Roadtrip with her friends, mas gusto niya yun kaysa sa Bar-hopping, lalo na ngayong broken-hearted siya.
She is not like other girls, she is not in favor of “Flings”, she is the type of girl who is ready for a commitment, other guys would describe her as a “wife material”, not just a “girlfriend material”. Even her male best friend, Anton knows that. He is in love with her before, pero napagkasunduan nila ni Judith na manatiling magkaibigan na lamang, Sa kabila nito, hindi naman nagbago ang lalim ng pagkakaibigan nilang dalawa.
