The Lost Story

Chapter 23

I woke up seeing Ross peacefully asleep next to me. He was so cute. I leaned over and lightly kissed his forehead. He smiled but was still sleeping. I got up out of bd quietly, so he wouldn't wake up. I slipped on my green fuzzy socks and walked downstairs to make breakfast. Neon Trees played from my radio as I was making pancakes. I was softly singing along until I felt strong arms wrap around me.

"Good morning Baby", Ross whispered lightly kissing my neck. I smiled turned around to face him kissing his soft warm lips lightly. "Why didn't you wake me up?".

"You looked so peaceful. I didn't want to disturb you", I said turning back to my pancakes. Ross wrapped his arms around me again resting his chin on my shoulder.

"I don't mind being woken up by you", he whispered into my ear as he started rubbing my stomach. "How do you feel?", he asked trying to look down at my stomach. I haven't formed a baby bump yet, so he was basically staring at my boobs.

"I feel fine", I laughed, "Why don't you go bug someone else?".

"But I love you", he whined as I pushed him away onto the couch.

"I know you do now watch TV or something and leave me alone, so I can finish our breakfast", I said giving turning on the TV and handing him the remote. He pouted and changed the channel to Disney.

"Happy?", he pouted again. "Very", I said giving him a quick kiss. He smiled and looked back towards the TV. I walked back into the kitchen to see Sage standing there looking at me. I screamed and jumped about a foot in the air. I think I just had a heart attack.

"What happened? Are you okay?", Ross said running into the kitchen. "When did Sage get here?", he asked pointing at Sage.

"You almost gave me a heart attack!", I yelled whacking Sage. He just laughed at me and went into our fridge.

"Ross when did you get here is my question? I thought you weren't supposed to be back for another couple of months?", Sage asked holding taking his head out of the fridge. Ross looked at me with wide eyes.

"Our families are having dinner together tonight to explain why. Something more important came up that I need to take of, so we post-poned the tour for next year", Ross said quickly. I nodded.

"Do you know what's going on?", Sage asked. I nodded. I wasn't going to lie to Sage. He's my brother. "Okay then, I'll see you guys tonight", he said walking out the front door.

"We're going to tell everyone tonight?", I looked at Ross terrified. What if his family hates me? Rydel doesn't hate me, but the rest of his family might. Will Sage kill Ross for getting me pregnant?

"Everything will be fine. Don't worry, Carly", Ross said kissing the top of my head and wrapping his arms tight around me. I wrapped my arms around his torso and buried my head into his chest. I hope Ross is right. I don't want his family to hate me. "Do you feel better now?" he asked looking down at me.

"Not really, but it needs to be said eventually", I said. He smiled and lifted me up onto the counter.

"I'll be right there by your side. You won't be doing anything alone. I'll always be here for you", he said kissing me.

"I'M HERE GIRL!!!!", I heard Rydel yell. I screamed and jumped down from the counter. I ran over to her and hugged her tight. We both squealed and hugged each other.

"I missed you so freaking much! And nice entrance", I said finally letting go.

"Thank you! I missed you too! We need to go shopping ASAP!", she yelled pushing me up the stairs, so I could get changed. I got dressed into black high waist shorts, my Maleficent tank top, and black low cut Converse. I left my hair naturally straight, threw on some eye shadow and mascara, grabbed my phone, and walked out the door with Rydel.

"You look adorable! I can't wait to go shopping!", Rydel squealed putting on her seat belt and turning on the radio. Cool Kids by Echosmith blasted through the speakers. We arrived to the mall. We both hopped out of the car and linked arms. I told Rydel about dinner tonight, and we found an adorable outfits for us to wear.

We got home, and Ross wasn't there. Rydel helped me get ready. She did my make up all fancy with winged eyeliner and curled the ends of my long hair. I put on my outfit which was a blue cropped top and the back looked like it was tied together with a bow, a black high-waisted skater skirt, and cute black wedges. I never wore heels but these were too cute.

Rydel curled all of her hair and had a brown smokey eye. Her outfit was super adorable. She had on a whit muscle tank that said BOSSY on it, a black and white sparkly chevron high-waisted skirt, and heels that kind of look like boots with thick heels. I loved her outfit so much. By the time we were done getting ready we had to go over to Rydel's house for dinner. Rydel drove us to her house, and we arrived in seconds.

"Del, I don't know if I'm ready for this?", I said looking at her worried. She gave me a reassuring smile and hugged me.

"You have nothing to worry about with my family. My family will be thrilled. It's your brother I'm worried about", she said getting out of the car. She was right I should only really be worrying about Sage and what he'll do. I'm still really scared though. I got out of the car and followed Rydel inside the house. Everyone was just sitting down for dinner when we arrived.

"Sorry we're a little late. Carly's hair doesn't like to curl very well", Rydel sitting down. Ross pulled my chair out for me to sit down.

"It's all right. You're just in time", Ross said kissing the to of my head.

"So Ross what did you want to tell us?", Mark asked. I froze and looked at Ross. He grabbed my hand from underneath the table and lightly squeezed it.

"The reason we had t leave the tour was... because...", Ross was stumbling, so I finished for him.

"I'm pregnant", I said quickly just to get it over with. Everyone's jaws dropped to the floor except for Rydel and my dad's.

"And the baby's mine", Ross added. Everyone was silent and all eyes were on Ross and me. This is probably the most uncomfortable and scared I've ever been.
