{Evan}

Allison is snuggled up against me, her head laying on my chest, her legs intertwined with mine. She's asleep. She told me she hadn't had a good night of sleep for a long time. I hope she has now. I want her to feel comfortable around me.

Tomorrow is new years eve. I'm hoping to spend it with Allison, which I think I will. She hasn't talked to her parents about everything, and she sure as hell won't be spending it with Asher.

I'm glad I finally get to have her. To have her, lying in my arms. I can finally kiss her whenever I want to. I can finally love her with everything I have. Nothing will be stopping us from now on. If someone tries to get between us... I shake my head and brush away the hairs from Allisons face.

She doesn't realize how special she is. I'd do anything for her, anything to be with her. I love the way she laughs, the way she cares so much about others, the way she sleeps, the way she screams my name when I make her feel like no one else can. Hell, I love everything about her.

'Evan?' she mumbles with a sleepy voice. Her blue eyes open slowly. 'Are you still up?'

'Yeah,' I say. 'But you can go back to sleep.' She shakes her head.

'I want to stay up with you,' she mutters.

'I'll go to sleep in a minute,' I tell her. 'All, you need your sleep.' She nods and places a kiss on my chest before she closes her eyes again. I pull her against me tighter, if that's even possible. It feels so good to be here with her. Just the two of us. I place a kiss on her forehead and then I close my eyes as well, drifting off to sleep.

When I wake up my hair is still a little damped from the shower I took last night. I grab my phone and see that both Olivia and Stacy texted me, wondering if I already spoke to Evan. I'll reply to them later.

I turn around to face Evan. He's still asleep. Smiling, I let my fingertips glide over his face, tracing all the lines, from his eyebrows to his lips. I'm glad we talked. Now we can finally focus on us.

Suddenly Evan turns his head away, so I can't touch him anymore. I sigh softly and lie down on my back, facing the ceiling. I guess I'll just have to wait until he wakes up.

My heart skips a beat when he places his hand on my thigh, the cold metal of his ring touching my skin. I look next to me and see Evan slowly opening his eyes.

'Hey,' he says with a raspy morning voice. Immediately I feel my stomach tingle. God, that's the most sexy sound I've ever heard.

'Hey,' I smile back. 'You're cute when you're asleep.' Evan laughs and wraps his arms around me.

'You too,' he says, his hand gliding over the fabric of my, his, t-shirt. I'm wearing nothing but his shirt and my panties.

For a few minutes, we just lie next to each other, enjoying each others company.

'What are your plans for new years eve?' Evan asks suddenly. Right, that's today. I totally forgot with everything that's going on.

'Well, I was spending it with my parents and Asher,' I say. 'But that won't happen. So I guess I'll be joining Stacy to a party, unless you had other plans?' I want to be with Evan on new years eve, so wherever he goes, I go.

'If I can join too, I'm fine with it.' He shrugs his shoulders.

'Hmm, I don't know if I want that,' I say, teasing him. He rolls his eyes before he starts to tickle me.

'Evan, stop!' I laugh, trying to slap his hands away. We are interrupted by a phone making a loud noise. I sigh when I realize it's mine.

'I'm sorry,' I say to Evan before I pick it up. My mother sent me a text.

You never said if you got back home safely. But I have to say, I'm disappointed in you Allison. Asher is a really great guy and you could have an amazing future together. He's everything you ever wanted in a boy. I don't know what changed you. Maybe it's college, or that boy you cheated with. But you're not the same girl I dropped off at college a few months ago.

[10.18 AM]
You don't know what really happened between Asher and me. It's not just me cheating. There's so much more to the story, but you and dad wouldn't care to listen. And yeah, maybe I've changed, but that's what happens when you experience some things, when you get older. So unless you want a real, genuine talk with me, don't speak to me again. I don't want parents who are not standing by my side.

I don't receive another text, so I assume she doesn't want to talk to me.

'Evan,' I say. 'I'm going back to my dorm to get dressed and all that stuff. I'll see you later today, alright?' Evan nods and kisses my lips shortly.

'Text me when you're ready,' he says. I smile and give him another kiss before I get out of bed and change into my other clothes. I give Evan one last look before I leave his room and walk back to mine.
