2.5 Him Meeting Her

It was next day and I dreaded Ian meeting Cat what if he liked her more,what if that mommy connection shit was real because  if it was i am screwed.

Not like I would miss Ian or anything but yeah...

And loud knock woken me out of my thoughts I got up quickly pulling Ian out his high chair and just let him run... I mean I had child proof the house anyway...

I watched him pull himself on the couch and grabbed the remote and pressed the cartoon channel.

There goes the loud knock again

Ian turned to me his brown eyes facing my hazel ones

"Jade some one at the door " he said turning back to TV

I sigh.

And took off my plaid button up shirt so I was just in my plain

T-shirt and black skinny jeans and white socks.

I walk up to the door and got on my tippy toes to peek threw peep hole to see.

A short Brunette sitting there big glasses on her face... Probably super expensive purse, skinny jeans and smile smack dead on her face.

I sigh.

Here we go.

I open the door slowly to face her and her brown guilty eyes.

"Hey" Cat said simply holding her bag close to her chest

I only said nothing, I just backed up so she could come in.

And she did.

She turns to me as I closed the door.

"So we're is he"She asked trying to cut the awkwardness in the air

"One the couch " I said wanting this over.

I watch as she played with him for while... Hell, I even saw some tears... But I didn't feel guilt nor anything for Cat... She did what she did look for a moment longer before announcing I was going to bed and that Cat could let herself out and Ian could what TV while I did...

I was feeling awfully tired...

So tired. So drowsy. So... Me
