*Still Beckett's POV*

I was at school when I got the call. I was walking down the hall to my next class when I got the call from my mum's phone. I had probably forgot to get something before I left home.

But, as always, I was wrong.

"Hi, is this Beckett Graham?"

"Yes it is, who's this?"

"Hi, I'm doctor Mitchell, I'm a doctor at the hospital your parents were admitted to a short time ago."

I almost dropped the phone.

"Why? What's wrong with them?"

"Honey, I'm so sorry... but they were in a car accident. They passed away in surgery..."

I couldn't hear anything else. Couldn't move, couldn't breathe.

Both parents... gone. My biological ones, and the ones who raised me.

All gone.

This time I did drop the phone. I didn't care what was on it, I just wanted to get rid of the voice who told me my parents were dead.

I ran down the hallway, ignoring the people I pushed over, and burst out the front doors of the school.

I went over to the nearest wall and punched it.

Quoting a book I've heard of.. 'The lady asked me to rate my pain from 1 to 10. I held up nine fingers, because I was saving my ten.'

But this wasn't it. The great and terrible ten. I'm still saving that.

I heard someone come up beside me and saw, of all the people in this school, that it was the nerd girl. Allison.

💟Allison's POV💟

"Piss off, I don't need to deal with your shit right now," he said to me.

"I know, it's just that Ally told me to give you this." I held out his phone.

"Ally told you?"

"Yeah."

"Tell her I said thanks. You can go now."

"Yes master," I sneered and walked away.

I told you, he has no bloody clue who I am.

"Don't you talk to me like that, little girl! I could ruin you!" He yelled from behind me. I turned around and threw my arms up and said:

"You already have, so you can't hurt me anymore. Better luck next time!" I yelled back and stalked away.

No.

Fucking.

Clue.

I stalked back into the hall just as the bell for next class rung.

I cursed and jogged down the hall to my class.

God... Beckett had lost his parents... I don't know what possessed me to pick up the phone and talk, but I did and now look where that's got me.

~*~

I was walking out of the school when I got a call from Beckett.

"Hello?"

"Hey Ally.."

"Hey are you okay?"

"No..." he whispered and his voice broke. I felt a sense of déjà vù and thought about how it must feel to lose your parents, the people who raised you.
