Dawn's POV

I had gotten home and just called Mason

"Mason, am at home. Get here as soon as possible we need to talk"

I really don't know how Mason will feel knowing I has sex with my boss who was bad and rude to him when he came visiting and that he paid me off to never come his way

I was in my thought when the door opined  revealing Mason

He stretched his hand as if to carry me

"Hey big sis, I missed and I was worried about you. I had come home to check up on you but you where not here"

Why would he get so worried about me I am his elder sis

"Am sorry I stayed out a little to take in some fresh and different air aside the one from the Benjamin's mansion"

Mason come close to me, sat down and asked me

"Dawn, you said we are talking. What's wrong"

I felt really reluctant to answer but the earlier the better

"We are leaving, going to another different place and start afresh"

Mason look at me with his mouth hanging

"Dawn, we don't even have the money to get ticket not to talk of start a new life"

I knew he would say that, guess I have to open up to him

"I have a cheque of five hundred thousand dollars with me to withdraw"

"What?" Mason look at me suprised. "Where on earth did you get the money"

"From my boss, he told me to stop working and leave" I answered

"Why? You fought him or perhaps talk sense to him and he got angry" he said calmy

"No" I said

"Why, that bastard needs some proper lesson and talks. But why did he ask you to leave" mason inquires again

"Wehadsexwhilehewasdrunk" I replied fast

"Dawn you need to talk to me to understand, what did you say"

"Mason I said we had sex while he was drun......."

Mason cut me short

"What, he forcefully took you while he was drunk and he paid you to leave. That ain't happening Dawn we are filing a case on the charges of rape, NOW DAWN!!!"

"Mason he didn't forcefully take me, I also let him. I thought I love him and perhaps he does too" I said wearily

"How would you think a bitch, arrogant and rude guy like that would love you. He just uses girls and dumb them" he said

"But I thought.........." My words were cut short

"OK Dawn we really have to leave, I don't want you thinking when you hear his name or see his pictures" Mason said concerned

"I had plan to start a confectionery and bakery store, you know how much I love to this" I said

Mason face lit up with a smile

"That's true, but where do we go to and its just 8 in the morning let's pack till 11. I will book us a ticket on my system just tell me where we are heading"

"Oh that's good, but what about the house. You know this is the only thing our parent left"

Mason look up for some seconds then turn to me

"What about we put it on lease, I will put in our number to know who wants to take it" he said

The idea he bought seems pleasant to me and I agreed. We started packing our stuffs while he book us ticket to New York from Los Angeles

My business proposal will be better established there. The plane was set to leave in the next five hours which is 4 in the evening

"Mason can you do an online check to see if you can get us a hotel for a week before we could get a place to stay in" I asked

"Already done that" he answered

We finished packing our loads and we set for the airport thirty minutes before the takeoff.

I gave a one last look to my house and the city with the believe I will never get to come back again

We got to the airport, get our tickets and after ten minutes wait our flight was set. We board the plane and mason and I left for ever.

So my sweeties what do you all think, she left with her brother and all seems well right. I really hope she finds joy there.

And I just went through the first chapter to see Dawns brothers name as Marion so am sorry we have been seeing Mason. But anyways let's stick to Mason I kind of got used to it. Byeee comment and vote it gives me an assurance am still on the track.
