Andromeda Walburga black. The last of the wealthy pure-blood powerful family of black, named after her father's cousin Andromeda and her grandmother Walburga. Her father, Regulus articus black, was a proud Slytherin along with her mother. Although they were both death eaters she was extremely proud to be their daughter. Her mother was forced to give her up, along with her older brother by two years, to their godfather, Severus Snape, because she was not able to care for the children on her own. Severus cared for them as if they were his own, no matter how cruel or cold he acted he truly was a great father figure for her. Every night he would tell her the story that she begged to hear, the story of her father. She was greatly inspired by both of her parents but her father especially. She lived at Hogwarts, all of the teachers loved the rambunctious, cunning girl. She was pure Slytherin. Although she was young everyone could clearly tell she was destined to lead the noble house of Slytherin to fame and continue the prestigious black name. On occasion, Severus would get some of the older Slytherin students to watch her and Corvus. They immediately took a liking to the girl, the boy on the other hand, well not so much. He took after his uncle, rebellious, lively and.... Gryffindor. He was often ridiculed by the Slytherin students for being so obnoxiously proud. And contrary to popular beliefs Snape and Andromeda still cared very strongly for the boy. Andromeda was very Slytherin and she clearly took after both of her parents, a wealthy pure-blood supremacist, sly, cunning, and a leader through and through. soon the students of Slytherin noticed this, Andromeda was referred to often as 'the heir' or the 'Slytherin princess', she was first given the latter nickname by none other than Marcus flint. She truly was a Slytherin,
Soon it came time for Corvus to be sorted into a Hogwarts house as he started as a student.

(Andromeda's POV Corvus's Sorting Ceremony)

I sat next to my dad at the teacher's table as the first years were lead in by McGonagall, ugh I hated that woman she was always harping on me and praising my brother just because he was sooooo much like Gryffindor. The nerve! one day I'll show her. I'll make my father proud. I subconsciously hit my fist on the table and my black eyes filled with rage. I quickly covered it up going back to the usual smirk plastered on my face and my cold unforgiving attitude. My father glanced at me.

The 11-year-old children looked around in awe well,  all except my brother. Corvus. He stood at the front looking around proudly, my dad was gazing at him almost, almost... Lovingly. I was surprised, to say the least. It was always clear that he favoured me. I mean I was basically an exact replica of my father, my dad's best friend, Regulus black. My medium length thick black hair sat in slight curls down my back, my black eyes always calculating. Suddenly I had realized that the sorting had begun, and my brother was being called.

He walked up to the tattered old hat as my dad and I waited anxiously, even though I could tell the outcome already, the hat didn't even hesitate before it yelled out "Gryffindor!!!" I sat clapping still slightly disappointed, a part of me had still hoped he could've been in Slytherin.

as soon as the welcoming feast ended I ran after my brother through the mud bloods and Gryffindors, shoving then to the side. I shuddered internally, the students all cleared out of my way as I walked towards Corvus only to see him standing with... WEASLEYS?? WHAT THE BLOODY FUCK WERE THEY DOING WITH MY BROTHER.

I was filled with rage I stormed up to him. People jumped back in fear I pulled him away from the redheads, practically seething I pulled Corvus around the corner.

"Yeah yeah so all that good stuff sorting, congrats, blah, blah, blah but what the fuck were you doing with those pathetic fucking Weasleys. father told you not to go near them!" I whisper shouted at him from an empty corridor.
