It was a Monday, FP's first day of his job at the construction site. Alice heard Charles waking but FP didn't need to be up for another hour so she decided to go get him ready for the day and then make some breakfast and pack FP his lunch.
She slipped out of bed and threw on some shorts and a t shirt and walked to Charles' room and heard him stirring.
"Hi baby!" Alice cooed.
"Dada."
"Yes I know buddy, you love your dada, what about Mama?"
"Mama!"
"Yes Mama, my big boy oh my gosh I love you!"
"Mama! Dada!"
"Let's get you fed and ready for the day mister mister, dada has a big day at work today!"
Alice changed him, dressed him and fed him some milk and then walked to the kitchen and put him in his high chair and cut up some small pieces of banana and gave them to him while she got to making FP his lunch.
"Alright buddy, what should I make daddy for his lunch?" She asked Charles.
"Dada!"
"I'm thinking a turkey sandwich? with some snacks?"
"Mama."
"Yes baby you like your banana?"
"Nana!"
"Yes banana buddy. Let me work on your daddies lunch okay? He has a big day today."
Just then she heard FP coming out into the kitchen.
"Morning Allie, Charlie boy!"
"Hi Jonesy." Alice said and gave him a quick kiss.
"What you up to there?" He asked.
"Charles is all ready for the day he's eating some banana, well looks more like making a mess but he's trying, i'm just packing you some lunch, and then going to make some breakfast so you go take a shower and get ready and when you're done it should be ready."
"Was hoping you guys would come by the site on my lunch." He said sheepishly.
"You want us to?"
"Yeah, I do babe."
"Okay then we will come, take this anyways because it's done in case you get hungry, we will get pops and bring it for us all to have. For Mr.A too, is Fred going to be there?" She asked.
"Yeah since Mr.A is busy."
"Then I will bring food for everyone, go on get ready." She said and patted his chest.
"Lunch is done, now let's make some breakfast Charles."
She quickly whipped up some bacon and eggs, and toasted some bread and had the table set just as FP was coming into the kitchen.
"Smells so good babe."
"I'm glad, eat up you gotta get going, don't want to be late on your first day."
They ate breakfast together as a family and then FP had to head out to work.
"Alright Charles, I gotta go to work buddy, can you say bye?" FP asked as he picked up Charles and gave him a kiss.
"Dada." He said and waved his little hand.
"Bye bye buddy, see you in a few hours okay?"
He handed Charles to Alice.
"See you later baby," he said and gave her a kiss. "Have a good day, I'm going to miss you guys so much."
"We're going to miss you too Jonesy, but we'll see you in a few hours. Have a great day love."
"Bye guys." He said and walked out the door.
*alright this was kind of short, I'm sick but I wanted to get something out, ill try to update tomorrow too*
