As soon as you got in Jack's view, he got out of the drivers seat and came to give you a giant hug. You hugged for quite a while and then got you pulled away and you both got into the car.

"So what did you need to talk about?" Jack asked
"Well, it's a long story" you said
"Do you want me to drive around and we can talk or do you want to talk back at my house?" Jack asked
"Well I want Zach to be there too, so can we go to your house?" You answered
"Of course. If everything okay? I noticed you were crying when we were on the phone" Jack said and you sighed
"Yeah I guess I was just having a mental breakdown and I still am but it's not as bad and I'm just stressed and I don't know what to do with my life anymore and I'm a mess... ugh...I don't even know" you rambled
"Woah woah, where's all this come from" Jack said
"Last night" you said and you could tell Jack became nervous
"What happened last night??" He asked
"It wasn't anything bad, in fact it might be good but I'm just not sure, I'll just explain when we get to the house" you said
"Okay" Jack replied

You turned up the music and a few minutes later you arrived at the boys' house. You walked in and all the guys were in the living room talking. You walked in and the guys were all worried about you since you called them all.

"Hey Maddie, are you okay?" Daniel asked
"I guess" you replied
"Sorry none of us answered, Jon gets mad when we are on our phones during rehearsals" Jonah added
"Yeah, it kind of sucks" Corbyn also added
"So Maddie do you need to talk about something or??" Zach asked
"Um..yeah, but I only need to talk to you and Jack sooooo..." you said and looked at the other guys

They got the cue and got up and went outside. You sat down beside Jack on the couch, and Zach sat in a single chair beside y'all.

"Okay so before you start talking, are you like breaking up or something because what else would you want to talk to just me and Jack about?" Zach asked
"No no no, definitely not, just let me tell you the freaking story" you said and Jack let out a sigh of relief
"Okay okay, go" Zach replied
"Okay so, last night at the Karaoke place, a guy came up to our table and was complimenting me and the girls singing, and he was really nice. He also said he had a recording studio that he would let any of us use for free if we wanted to. He also asked me if I wrote my own music and I said no, of course, and he said he knows people that can write music for me and I can sing it. The girls were all in because they said it could jump start the career they've been waiting for but I don't really know what to do?" You said and took a deep breath after talking so much
"Who was the guy?" Zach asked
"Luke Smith, he didn't say who he worked for or anything but I have his card" you said
"Wait Jack isn't Luke Smith the-" Jack said but Zach butted in
"The guy that talked to us about joining Atlantic Records, aka the people that literally helped us become famous? Yeah that's him" Zach said continuing Jack's sentence
"Maddie that's amazing!!" Jack said and gave you a big hug
"Wait you guys know him?" You said
"Yeah a little bit" Zach replied
"So, if I took his offer and had some people write me some music, then I could become famous like y'all?" You said unenthusiastically
"Yeah, why don't you sound happy about that?" Jack asked
"Because when I came to LA, I had this dream of becoming a photographer and staying behind the scenes, but I've done the exact opposite. I've barely done any photography, and now I'm singing on YouTube and I'm not behind the camera anymore. When I started singing, my plan was never to become famous and tour the world, it was pretty much just for fun but now I feel like it's gone too far" you said and you could feel a lump in York throat beginning to form
"Maddie, you are an amazing singer, your voice is unlike any other and that's why people like listening to you, but if you don't want to sing, then it doesn't matter. You need to do what makes you happy, not what makes others happy" Jack said as he held your hands to comfort you
"Yeah, if you don't like singing, don't do it. If you wanna do photography, go for it" Zach said
"Yeah but here's my problem. I like singing and performing, but nobody really just gets a little bit famous and stays there. Most people grow, and eventually fans want you to tour and go places and i don't know that I want to be that famous." You said and Zach let out a small laugh
"Maddie, that's not how it works, you don't really get to choose how famous you get. It just depends on how good you are" Zach said
"Yeah but let's just say, I take this offer and I put a real song out there and people like it. They want more and more and eventually I have an EP or album. People will want me to tour so they can hear it live and meet me. If that happens, what am I supposed to do? Leave everything behind and go tour? I can't do that, then my schedule wouldn't match up with yalls and I would be lonely and I can't be away from y'all like that. I literally want to cry just thinking about y'all leaving for tour" you said
"Maddie, don't worry about us, we'll find a way for us to hang out all the time, and maybe we could have concerts in the same cities or something like that" Jack said trying to comfort you
"But also, i would be singing other people's songs, and that wouldn't be me" you said
"Well then don't do it, just do covers" Zach said
"Can I do that? Then i wouldn't really have to tour. Maybe I could just be an opening act or something" you said and suddenly you got an idea
"Wait! If the girls start doing really good I could tour with them and be their opening act! But then i would still be touring and I would be away from y'all" You said
"Maddie, don't let us ruin what you want" Zach said
"Yeah, you need to do what you want. No matter what, we'll find a way to make everything work out" Jack said and you smiled
"I think I have a plan" you said and smiled

You finally weren't completely stressed out and it felt so much better. You honestly didn't really know what the plan was, but you could just wing it and see where it takes you.
