first time she says 'I love you'

She's been acting off all day long. You knew something was going on but when you'd ask her what was wrong she'd just say nothing and kiss your head.

You can tell something's going on with her though. She's so much quieter than usual and frankly, you're getting worried.

You ran your hand along her arm and she smiled at you. "Something on your mind, honey?" She shrugged her shoulders and reached for the remote to pause the movie you're watching. "There's something important that I wanna tell you." You nodded and reached for her hand. You intertwined your fingers together and ran your thumb across her knuckles.

"I love you." Your breath hitched and the biggest smile tugged your lips up. "You do?" She nodded and smiled at you, cupping your chin in her hands and staring at you with a glimmer of hope in her eyes that she didn't say it too soon.

"I love you too." You paused, moving your hands to her cheeks and stroking them softly. "I love you so much Leigh-Anne." She pressed her lips to yours and you giggled as she pulled away and started kissing your face, muttering 'I love you's' against every part of your face that her lips touched.
