I stay by the window of the past
I roll the shades sometimes
When the glare of your today
Gets too hot for the likes of what I
Thought could be

I stay by harbor, rolling my fingers in the air
Calling to your land, your air
But there's no wind that blows my way
No gale force of hope wandering to say 'hey'
I'm better with off with just a memory
Whether of me or the 'someday'

So I stand on the deck, over the rails
I sway to the 'gulls, the breeze, I've lost the beat to care
I make my music still to a deeper filter
You could find yourself even when you're not looking

But now I have to take this boat to sea
To captain some other form of me
I know, I have to go
I know, you won't know
I'll bid adieu to the skyline
To you, to you, to you

All aboard on the 'Wipeout'
(There's nothing of you, nothing of me)
Last call for the 'Wipeout'
(I stand alone and she has you)

Palm tree boulevard on the corner of you
Driving my ways to the edge of the moon
Shake off the pieces into the coral collective
Starfish and sharks wearing my moods

Jumping off the cliffs like I know you love to do
To wonder under water, I'm sure you'll find me there too
I can paint the image of what you said you'd do
And you've done that alright just with someone new

It's all the same fucking game to the girl
Whose been living under the moods
Under the blue
Under the glass sheet of what she's meant to do
Worlds not made for her
but mad for her

But now I have to take this boat to sea
To captain some other kind of me
I know, [I have to go]
I know, [you won't know]
I'll bid adieu to the skyline
To you, to you, to you

All aboard on the 'Wipeout'
(nothing of you, nothing of me)
Last call for the 'Wipeout'
(I stand alone but I am true)

There's no passengers left
Just me and the deep sea blue
I ride the high tide on a low mind
I stand alone, but I make my music best
When I have nothing
Mother Nature has a shaky floor
Foaming at the mouth
She's wild and raw, ocean Medusa
Docked and dizzied

Boarding for the 'Wipeout'
(No one left, just some headlines)
Last call for the 'Wipeout'
(I stand alone, she still has you)
Final call on the 'Wipeout'
She still has you
