Black black
It's all an act that I put on for you
Like the showgirls in the bright lights at the Riveria noon
I won awards for my performance, am I that good
I guess if I got a star named for it, it must be true

But it's dark in here, when the reel stops playing
Hollywood isn't that bright
When every day you have to fight
In your eyes I see the light

Action and I play you on
Another woman that I'm dreaming of
She's the one you want, you'll find her on the movie screen
They call cut and she's over now
And your smiles fades a little now that she's gone

Black black
It's all an act that I put on for you
Like a records I play just to get in the mood

I wish I was a showgirl, showgirl
So my eyes could be white pearl, white pearl
And I'm good for what I am not what I show
And these lights never fade only glow

I wish I was a showgirl
Where the movie is you
And the stars all die for you
Because nobody puts on a show like you do.
