I stole the reel, because I liked the pictures
Hot on my heels, they ran to catch her
Copacabana to Marmont, Keys to the border
Every girl wants to have fun

I shouldn't have loved you, I knew too much
And everything had me ready to run
But you said the words that it could be done

So I'm here to star in your love
Drop the soundtrack and see me groove
I've seen the big picture, your ultra film
The story is as true as it comes

When I was a little girl, I dreamt of the man I would've known
I didn't know they made them like you, don't they call you Blue?
Bad habits die hard, If I left I'd still hear you
In my head you would ring
And all that I've wanted would set off a siren

I shouldn't have loved you, I knew too much
And everything had me ready to run
But you said the words that it could be done

So I'm here to star in your love
Cue makeup and hair, I know you like glamour mixed with Jersey
Your leading lady takes off her gloves and lifts her chin to the directors cut
She's seen the big picture, your ultra film

Every one said you were too bad to be redeemed
That the spotlight wouldn't shine where you're seen
They told me so many times to see
The big picture, that you're nice for awhile
But when the cameras stops
I'll be back on the line

I shouldn't have loved you, I knew too much
And everything had me ready to run
But you said the words that it could be done
But I fell for the big picture, your ultra movie.
