Nagising si Susannah na mag isa na lang sya sa kama ni Gabriel. She sat up on the bed and looked around the floor for her clothes, pero wala na ang mga ito sa floor. She wrapped the sheet around her body and padded out of his room para pumunta na sa kwarto nya at kumuha ng damit at maligo na when she smelled bacon cooking from the kitchen. She went in that direction instead and saw Gabriel, in just his boxer shorts, cooking away in front of the stove. Napalunok si Susannah sa ganda nang katawan ng binata at dahan dahang lumapit kay Gabriel. He noticed her and smiled at her.
"Good morning, sleepy head, malapit na tong matapos. Gutom na ba kayo?" he said, referring to her and the baby.
Susannah didn't say anything and instead just hugged him from behind. She rested her forehead on his shoulder. Napangiti si Gabriel sa ginawa ng dalaga. "Para sa amin yan?"
"Of course. Okay lang ba ang amoy o gusto mo nang ibang pagkain?"
"Okay naman. Ang bango nga eh," she kissed his shoulder. "Teka lang, magbibihis muna ako."
"Bakit pa?" he spun around and hugged her. "Eh tatanggalin ko din naman yan after breakfast," he chuckled and kissed her nose.
"Ganun?" she laughed and pinched his side. Sa totoo lang, kinikilig din naman sya sa sinabi ng binata pero ayaw nya naman mahulog ng tuluyan dahil pagkatapos nyang manganak ay wala naman na syang balak pang manatili sa buhay ng binata.
"I just can't get enough of you."
"Dapat siguro ihinto na natin to..."
"Why?" he frowned at her.
"Eh wala naman tayong relasyon, pero parati tayong natutukso. Ako dahil buntis ako, ikaw, dahil lalaki ka..." humagikgik si Susannah sa sinabi nya.
"Lalaking adik na sa yo," he kissed her on the lips.
"Ah, Gabe..." she said against his lips. "Ang niluluto mo, nasusunog na ata," she giggled.
"Sh.." he let go of Susannah and turned around, quickly turning off the stove and removing the bacon from the pan onto a plate.
Susannah took the opportunity to slip into her room and put some clothes on. Pumasok sya ulit sa kwarto ni Geoff at kumuha ng t-shirt. When she came back out ay nakaplato na ang bacon at toast and sliced fresh fruit sa plato. He set the plate down on a placemat and poured orange juice sa baso. She walked back in shorts and a t-shirt, a sight which made him frown. She grinned at him.
"Itaas mo mga braso mo, please," she said to him.
"Huh?"
"Huwag ng maraming tanong tanong. Gawin mo na lang please," she looked up at him with puppy dog eyes.
He chuckled and sat down then raised his arms up. Sinuotan na sya ni Susannah ng t-shirt na dala dala nya bago umupo sa upuan nya. "Bakit?"
"Nalalamigan ang pan de sal," she stuck her tongue out at him playfully.
Natawa din si Gabriel. "Innah, ang cute cute mo, alam mo ba yun?"
"Ngeng, ikaw talaga...kumain ka na lang," sinubuan ni Susannah ng bacon si Gabriel.
"Anong plano mo today?"
"Susunduin ako ni Liza. Magpe-pre-natal yoga daw kami."
"Safe ba yan?"
"Oo naman. Sabi ni Doctor Mark na I should still do some light exercise di ba? Sya nga ang nagrecommend ng lugar na to."
"Okay, but I don't want you to over exert yourself."
"Relax," she giggled. "Baka ikaw ang kailangan mag yoga at nang marelax ka?"
"You know what, that's a good idea. Bakit hindi na lang kita samahan?" his eyes shone brightly as he asked her.
