Jamie found Demi back at the venue getting drunk with Johnny and Joe. She was dead on a gurney six hours ago and now she was drinking and doing cocaine with her band mates. I was furious. There wasn't an ounce of compassion in my bones. I wanted to kill her myself.

As soon as I made it back to the venue I was once again bombarded by paps and reporters asking about Demi's alleged drug overdose and how I let it happen. Thankfully Ritchie pushed me through before I could respond. I had finally reached my breaking point and I was infuriated. Everyone in the building was about to get a taste of "hell on heels." Heads were going to roll. How I let this happen? It was absurd. I know exactly who let this happen and they were about to be removed from the situation.

I had Jamie call all of the staff in and one by one I fired every single person until the only people left in the room were the stage crew and production guys, Jamie, Ritchie and myself. Everyone else was sent packing. When I finished, I left to go give Demi an ultimatum. She was going to enter treatment and there wasn't another choice beyond that.

"All of you leave." I said as I walked into the room, leaving no room for objection.

I waited as both Johnny and Joe left.

"Selena!" She said happy to see me.

"You're going to rehab." I said as I crossed my arms over my chest. "This has got to stop."

She let out a loud laugh and picked up a bottle of tequila. "Nope." She said before taking a long drink. "I'm not going anywhere."

"I'm not gonna lose you like this Demi." I choked.

"I don't owe you shit Selena!" She snapped angrily.

"I've taken care of you! I've supported you!" I said raising my voice.

I took a deep breath and lowered my tone.

"I've stayed with you through everything. I've defended you. I've loved you...You're out of your mind if you think you don't owe me." I seethed.

"I didn't ask you too!" She yelled.

"Do you have any idea what you did to me! I thought you were going to die!" I yelled back as the tears ran freely down my face.

"I want to fucking die! Don't you get it! I'm so sick of this shit! I'm sick of this band. I'm sick of my fucking life. I'm sick of you!" She screamed at me as she stood up. "You wanna know something else? I fucking hate you! I hate you for always choosing me and not someone else! I hate you for always pulling me away from everything! I can't fucking do this shit anymore!"

"You can hate me all you want! I don't give a fuck! I won't let you do this to yourself! You will fucking go or I'm gonna go! That's it! I'm fucking done!" I screamed back.

"I'm not fucking going!" She screamed in my face. "Where the fuck where you when I needed you the most?"

"I've always been here." I said barely above a whisper. "You just haven't been paying attention."

"Fuck you." She spat.

"Fine!" I yelled as I shoved my finger into her chest. "I'm leaving! I'm not going to stay here and watch you die. I've had enough!"

"You're just like the rest of them Selena!" She said with a humorless laugh. "You're here for the good times but when it gets tough you fucking bounce." She spat.

I slapped her as hard as I could. "Don't you ever say that to me again."

She responded by punching the wall next to my head. I shoved her away from me and she grabbed my throat and slammed me into the wall. It suddenly occurred to me that she was probably going to hurt me if I didn't stop. Her eyes were wild and angry.
