"A what? A hickey? Fenjun?" Jae was listening to the guy's voice on the phone not understanding a thing. "It's definitely not my son you'fe talking about."
He heard Doyoung coughing when he exchanged looks with Sicheng.
He has been in the office all day trying his best to forget everything else when the school called to report that Renjun has come to class with a hickey.
His Renjun? Impossible.
"Yes I... I'll come to school immediately," he said ending the call.
"Your Renjun?" asked Doyoung. "He's way too young to be making out, that's a really bad sign for his future."
"Come on he's in love it's cute," Sicheng smiled in a dreamy way.
"In love! My Junie!" yelled Jae when Sicheng became red. "Do you.. do-do you know something I don't!" he asked.
"Ah!" Sicheng became deeply red.
"Sicheng!" Jae jumped from his chair.
"He has a boyfriend but it's cute."
"Boyfriend?" asked Jae and Doyoung.
"But I thought he likes girls," said Doyoung. "It's all your influence," he muttered looking at Jae.
"Since Daisy Kim broke his heart he decided to move over to the opposite gender," said Sicheng smiling in a meaningful way.
"I'm just... too much news for me," Doyoung sighed leaving the room.
"Sicheng what afe you talking about? Do you know who it is, that guy my Junie is... is," Jae had now idea howe to name it.
"No, Sicheng don't, he keeps it really secretive, but it's first love so Sicheng understands," Sicheng smiled.
"Is he ffom his school?"
"Sicheng told you Sicheng doesn't know, you have to ask Renjun, but he won't tell you, he hasn't told Sicheng either."
"I will find that guy immediately and have a talk with him and his pafents, he will heaf something!" Jae grabbed the car keys from the desk leaving the office in a hurry on his way to school.
Jae slammed the door from the driver's side shut when Renjun was sill sitting in the car taking his courage together to walk to the castle. So far Jae hasn't said a word to him since he had seen him in the school corridor. Jae was furious, Renjun could sense it. He was so afraid, so lonely, so broken. Why couldn't Jae accept he was happy, he had the same right to be with someone, to kiss, to have hickeys, to receive and give pleasure. It was his human right.
He left the car tottering to the castle slipping into the living room to see Jae sitting at the large table his hands covering his face as if he was crying.
"Jae," he whispered.
"I don't know anymofe. I.. I know it's a hafd time, Taeyong is gone and..." Jae's jaw trembled. "But please don't fuin youf life. I know I failed as a pafent but..."
"Jae, you said I can love wherever I love," said Renjun when Jae sighed.
He was mumbling something biting his lips as if he was leading a battle with himself.
"Ok, who is it?"
"Jae!"
"What? I want to know. If my son is dating someone I need to know who it is."
"Why?"
"Because I need to know if it's a good pefson that will not hafm you."
"Jae he will not..."
"I want to meet him and his pafents today!" said Jae so seriously Renjun thought he'll faint.
"Are you serious?" he asked.
"Totally," Jae was looking at him with such a face Renjun's legs weakened.
"Oh!" he whispered.
"Call him and ask to come hefe."
"But we live out of the city."
"His pafents should bfing him, I'll gladly meet them too," said Jae sharply.
"But!" Renjun protested.
"If not you'fe fofbidden to meet him again," said Jae when Renjun wanted to scream.
How was a it even possible to be so unfair?
"Ok... ok I'll call him," he said running upstairs storming his room slamming the door shut, he fell on the bed cuddling to Dalli sobbing from anger.
He needed some time to calm down enough to call Jaemin, all because of some stupid hickey, how could Jaemin do it in the first place.
"Hi Junie," he heard Jaemin's sweet tone.
"What have you done!" shouted Renjun.
"What?"
"The hickey, I got detention, Jae was called to school! Now he wants you to come here today!" Renjun was shouting.
"Calm down," was all Jaemin said.
"How calm down! Do you hear me!"
"Tell Jae I'll be at yours at 9 pm for a late supper," said Jaemin in the same calm way.
"How?"
"I'll come by car," Jaemin was definitely chucking. "And don't stress yourself, I'll clear the matter with Jae, ok?"
"He will..." Renjun had no idea what to say.
"Just don't stress yourself, see you for supper, love you a lot," Jaemin finished the call when Renjun had no idea what to do, he would love to bite Jaemin and kick him for what has happened. Really how was Jaemin picturing it.
Renjun trembled jumping up walking down to see Jae lying on the couch in the living room.
"Jae."
"What?"
"He will come at 9 pm."
"9 pm?" asked Jae.
"Yes, his parents...they finish work late and it's the only time they can bring him here," whispered Renjun.
"Ok, gfeat, so yeah... do some homewofk of take Ti fof a walk I'll go to buy something nice fof suppef... and yeas, clean, we will have guests, the house needs to look ok," said Jae he sounded stressed so Renjun nodded returning to his room falling on the bed.
All that drama because of some stupid hickey, ok he will survive till 9 pm, but what next.
