Chapter Eight - Red Lace and Dirty Thoughts

- Martin's POV -

I grabbed an apple from a basket in the cafeteria. The mornings here were always too quiet. I am one of those people who absolutely hate silence. I feel like I am going crazy without some type of noise. As I waited impatiently for the Chinese guy to pay in front of me, I noticed something.

Karlie approached Madeline. What the fuck does she want with her? I watched them out of the corner of my eyes, hoping neither of them would do something stupid. The Chinese guy moved.

"Good morning - " The cafeteria lady was cut off by gasps and laughter. I looked back over at Karlie and Mads, seeing that Karlie had poured something over her head. I did not bother with my food as I rushed as fast as I could to them.

"Karlie, what the fuck!?" I raised my voice at her in anger.

"Now you're defending her? Hm, pathetic," she said bitterly and she walked away like nothing happened. Madeline's facial expression looked like she need to get out of here. I felt everyone's eyes on us, and frankly, I do not care.

"Here, come with me," I said quietly, going towards the door. I heard her footsteps behind me. Good, she was following me.

"Fucking bitch," I almost had to stop in my tracks. Damn, that is a first. I started to laugh.

"That's a first from you," I smirked. That actually sounded pretty hot.

"Martin, where are we going, I need to change," I could hear sadness in her voice now. I was going to take her back to her dorm, but then something hit me.

"My dorm," I looked back over my shoulder to see her eyes wide open and her shirt really... wet. Fuck.

- Madeline's POV -

"W-what?" I stuttered. A part of me was excited and the other half was screaming no over and over again. "I- I need to go back to my dorm," I said wanting to turn around and run away.

"Oh shut up, I'm not gonna bite," I was still walking slightly behind him. I crossed my arms over my chest, hoping to covered up the sheerness.

"But - " I tried to stop him but he interrupted me.

"We're here," he smiled slightly. I think my heart stopped. I just stood there and stared at him. I know, stupid, but he needs to get the point. He sighed, reaching out a hand. I stared at that too.

"Come on. Just get you a shirt and you can leave," he was persuading me and it was starting to work. I inwardly said okay and grabbed his hand. We walked into the building similar to the one I was staying in. Although, this one looked newer. It was silent when we got in and off of the elevator. His dorm was on the third floor.
