We rode quickly through the night and morning. We pushed the horses as fast as we could and eventually reach Perranth in the early afternoon. I hopped off my horse first, Rowan right behind me. Fenrys, Lorcan, and Dorian joining us just as fast. I didn't even bother to knock on the door, but to my surprise, I found a servant right inside, as if she were waiting for us.

"Your majesty! Lady Elide is just this way," the servant said quickly before heading down a hallway. I quickly followed my court not far behind. She led us to a grand room where multiple chairs were set up around a table. Elide, Feyre, and the Fae I recognized as the one that ran off into the woods, were seated at Elide sides, much to Lorcan's dismay.

"Aelin!" Elide greeted. I smiled.

"Elide, it's good to see you." Elide smiled back.

"Yes, but it always seems that we are to get together when something bad happens."

Her words reminded me of the task that was laid before us. I took a seat at the table next to Feyre and Rowan sat beside me. Lorcan reluctantly sat next to the unknown Fae, obviously wanting to be as close to Elide as possible. Dorian and Fenrys quickly filled the remaining chairs.

"Alright. We need to find a way to bring Evangeline home, and return Feyre and," I trailed off as I looked at the unknown Fae.

"Nesta," she offered.

"And Nesta to their world," I finished. "Feyre you said that your husband said she was in your world." Feyre nodded in confirmation. "Alright. So that trick me and Dorian did with the miniature witch mirror worked, but we want to use it at a larger scale. Dorian, I need you to get into contact with Manon and bring her here as soon as possible. Tell her to bring the largest witch mirror she can find," I ordered.

"For what?" Rowan asked.

"Remember that time Manon and I went into the witch mirror?" I asked. Rowan and Dorian nodded. "That showed us visions of the past, but maybe combined with the wordmarks we can see this other world and hear it too."

"Got it. I'll go get Manon now," Dorian said. He jumped out of his seat and went to the nearest window. "I'll see you guys in a day or two," Dorian said before opening the window. He jumped out and shifted into a raven. Feyre's eyes widened.

"He can shift? But he's not," she trailed off.

"Dorian has raw magic and has the ability to shift. He technically stole it from something else but it's very useful," I explained. She nodded and looked back to the table. "Evangeline is safe, but we need to find a portal that can be big enough, and stay open long enough to transfer people and Fae through."

That's when Nesta spoke up. "So there's been more than one portal that has opened up since I opened the first one. What if we find a way to make all the portals concentrate in one location. That portal will be the biggest. Then you can hold it in place with the marks I drew."

"That sounds like a good plan," Fenrys said.

"I have to agree. Nesta, do you remember the marks you used?" I asked. She nodded and reached for the pen and paper that Elide had set out. She spends a couple of minutes drawing some marks before she slides the paper to me.

"Those are what they looked like. I wrote them in blood."

They were obviously Wyrdmarks. I recognized a few of them. They stood for 'open', 'world', and 'flight'. Made sense that they would be used for a portal.

"I'll translate the rest of these and find ones that are their opposite. Maybe that can hold the portal," I said. "Lorcan, Fenrys, and Feyre can you go back to Orynth and visit the library there? Find any books that mention Wyrdmarks and other worlds," I ordered. Then I addressed Elide. "You are still in contact with Chaol and Yrene right?" Elide nodded. "I need them to go back to Rifthold and explore the libraries there. I will have Dorian join them as soon as he brings Manon back." Elide nodded and grabbed the paper to write a message to Chaol.

Fenrys, Lorcan, and Feyre stood up from the table.

"We should get going. It'll take us a while to get back to Orynth," Fenrys said. Feyre shakes her head.

"I can get us there in a matter of seconds," she said with a smirk. Lorcan raises a brow.

"How?" he asked.

"It's called winnowing. If I take your hand or even touch your shoulder, I can teleport you from one location to another," Feyre explained.

"I can do that too!" Fenrys exclaimed. "Except I get burned out fast and can only transport one other person at a time."

Feyre smirks. "Too bad. I transported an army once." Fenrys jaw drops open but in a matter of seconds, I see Feyre touch his and Lorcan shoulder. In a blink they are wrapped up in shadows before they disappear before our eyes.

"So what will we do Fireheart?" Rowan asked.

"I need you to help me translate and find more Wyrdmarks. Nesta and Elide can also help if they wish."

Elide nodded as she folds her message in half but Nesta shrugs.

"Why turn my vacation into a study party. If you don't mind I'll be leaving," she said before she gets up and leaves.

"Somehow I can tell that she's going to be a handful," Rowan muttered.
