I'm pretty sure getting ready for a stupid Christmas dance should not have taken this long. It's been two and a half hours and I'm still not done with everything.
I picked up my phone to check the time.
6:22
"Eeeeee," I screeched into the bathroom mirror.
I'm not going to have enough time.
Thirty eight minutes.
I slipped into my dress, careful not to rip anything.
Someone knocked on the bathroom door.
"Teresa?"
"One second, mom," I replied.
She walked in.
"I said...never mind. What do you need?" I asked.
"Your friends are here," she said.
"What?!"
"T," my mom said, grabbing my shoulders.
"You don't need to do anymore. You look beautiful."
"But-"
"You don't need anymore makeup. Your hair looks fine, you're going to have a great time," she promised.
"Thanks," I smiled.
I ran out of the bathroom and went to the front door.
Sure enough, in the middle of my yard was Thomas, dressed in a suit with a maroon tie that matched my dress, and Minho also dressed in a suit with a bow tie with Harriet standing next to him. I took a deep breath and walked out to meet them.
Thomas was the first to notice me.
He smiled and walked up.
"Hey, beautiful," he said and kissed me.
"Why are you so early?" I asked.
"We decided to go a bit early so we could leave early and get some food later," Thomas explained.
"Okay," I smiled.
"Well are you ready?" Thomas asked.
I nodded.
"You look gorgeous," Harriet said behind me.
I turned around and gave her a hug.
"So do you, Harriet!"
"Alright, Resa, don't go stealing my girl. She's my date," Minho said.
"You look good too, Minho," I laughed.
"So I hope you guys don't mind, but is it ok if my mom takes a few pictures?" I asked.
"Yeah, of course," Thomas said.
As if on cue, my mom came out with her phone.
"Ready, guys?" She called.
We all nodded.
Okay, so the photo shoot went a little like this:
First picture: Harriet and I were on top of Thomas and Minho's shoulders.
Second picture: Thomas and Minho we're carrying us both bridal style.
Third picture: a candid where Thomas almost dropped me.
Fourth picture: the cliche white boy photo with Thomas and Minho standing together with no facial expression.
Fifth picture: Harriet and I.
Sixth picture: candid where Thomas and Minho photobombed.
Seventh photo: the four of us standing together with the boys behind the girls, Thomas and Minho holding our waists.
Eighth photo: Thomas and I sharing a kiss.

"Alright guys," my mom said. "I would suggest getting a move on!"
"Right. Okay. Let's go," I exclaimed.
"Thank you Mrs. Agnes!" Minho called.
My mom waved as the four of us got into Thomas' white Jeep.
"I think we're going to have a really good time guys," Thomas said before starting the car.
