Peter's POV

The punch came a lot harder than I thought it would.

Flash had been going at me for 5 whole minuets and he wasn't even slowing down yet.

Blood was pouring down my nose, my face and body was bruised all over, I was sore every time he moved me. This was a lot worse than normal.

"Get use to it Parker." He whisper yelled as he kicked me one last time in the stomach before walking away.

This lack of sleep was starting to get to me. I wasn't as strong, I wasn't healing as fast, and my senses were slowly getting weaker. I needed sleep and fast.

I groaned to myself as I hauled myself off the floor and walked to the door. I felt like throwing up as I began walking to the parking lot.

There was no way I was hiding this. I winced with every step, my face was practically one big bruise, I couldn't move fast enough to turn away from anyone who tried to look at it. There was no hiding it.

Mr. Stark was so going to kill Flash when he found out.

Happy was parked in the middle of the school's drop off/pick line. There were plenty of cars behind him and the rule was normally if your kid doesn't come out right away you find a parking spot; but Happy didn't seem to mind all the beeping horns telling him to move.

I walked as fast as I could to his car while trying to keep myself as still as possible. I probably looked like I was on drugs and forgot how to walk.

"You sure took your sweet time. What took so long?" Happy asked when I shut the door and he shot off.

"I was talking to Ned and forgot that I don't take the train home anymore." I lied flawlessly.

I kept my head down and away from Happy's gaze. He kept his eyes glued to the road ahead of him, not even looking back at me which made hiding a lot easier.

The second Happy stopped the car at the facility I ran out of the car and into my room. Well, I tried to at least.

I was made it to my hallway when I ran into someone's chest sending a wave of pain through my body, causing me to wince. I knew as soon as I hit the chest who it belonged to.

"Watch out there Queens." He said as he steadied my shoulders. I keep my head focused on the ground as I nodded and walked around him.

Just as I was about to open the door and collapse on my bed Harley stopped me.

"Why are you wincing?"

"I'm not wincing."

"Yea you are. Like every time you take a step you wince." I tried to ignore him and walk into my room and shut the door but as I was closing the door he shoved his foot in the way.

Not wanting to break his foot I gave up and let him come in. He was going to find out eventually anyway. Slowly, I lifted my head.

"Holy shit." He said as he stepped closer and took my head in his hands to get a better look. "Who did this? Why did you let them do this?"

"It's no big deal Harley. It'll probably be healed by Wednesday."

"No big deal?" he yelled. "This is a huge deal! We need to tell Tony." He declared as he grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the room. He was almost out of the door before I winced and dug my feet into the ground.

He spun around quickly, making sure he didn't hurt me. His eyes were filled with worry and I felt bad for letting him see my face now.

"I said it's fine. There's no reason to get Mr. Stark into all of this. It's just a few bruises."

"That's not just a few bruises! That's a few bruises on you face; there's no telling how many are on your torso!" I groaned at him while yanking my hand away from him and lying on the bed. I felt a lot better now that I wasn't standing up.

Harley scoffed at me from his place at the door while shaking his head.

"Well fine. If you're not going to tell Tony then I will." I was about to call his bluff when turned around quickly and walked out of the door.

"Wait! Harley come back!" I yelled as I fell off the bed to stop him before he got too far.

I groaned when I realized he was already halfway down the hall. I sprinted and winced trying to catch up to him. When I did I grabbed him by the arm and tried to drag him back to my room but he kept shaking my hand off before I got a good grip.

When we were almost out of the hall I said fuck it and picked him up. One arm held his back while the other held his knees as I carried him back to my room.

"Parker let me down!" He yelled as he squirmed in my arms.

"You're hurting me with all of your moving." I say as I fake a wince making him freeze his movement but he didn't stop yelling at me to put him down. It was times like these that I was happy we had a whole hallway to ourselves.

When I got back to my room I threw Harley on the bed and locked the door. Harley sat up on the bed, an annoyed look settled on his face.

"What in the hell was that?" He demanded.

"I can't let you tell Mr. Stark."

"Why are you protecting this kid so much? What he's doing isn't okay!" I couldn't help but groan as I shook my head and put my face in my hands. We sat in silence for a few minutes until I decided Harley wasn't letting this go if I didn't tell him why I did it.

"Because if it's not me then it's someone else." I said barely above a whisper.

"What do you mean?"

"If he doesn't beat me up he's going to beat someone else. He's going to pick on someone who can't take it like I can and it's going to be my fault because I could have stopped it and I didn't."

"If we tell someone then the kid gets suspended-" he begins but I cut him off.

"Then he picks on some kid from the chess club at the next school. No matter what you can think of there is always someone else for him to pick on. If he's going to beat up on someone it might as well be someone who can take a lot of pain and heal quickly." Harley frowned but I could tell he knew I was right.

"There has to be something we can do." He said while pushing his hair back out of his face as he thought.

"There isn't. Harley, if you trust me, even just a little bit, you won't tell anyone about this."

"Fine." He mumbled as he fell back onto the bed. "I still don't like it though. What are you going to tell Mr. Stark when he sees it?"

"I don't know." I sighed as I joined Harley on the bed and lay on my back. "I'll think of something."
