One Shot 3: Zelo

Jin Ah and Zelo intensely locked eye contact.

Zelo's eyes widened, and then dropped down into an eye smile. It was the friendliest smile Jin Ah has ever seen him worn in forever.

She hated how he looked so optimistic. She knew who he was deep down.

Zelo noticed the tensions and took a breath.

''As you know, I was ordered to help you around at our school. I'm Zelo, the class president, what was your name again?''

Jin Ah's eyes immediately widened.

Was he being serious?!

She felt pressure built up in her heart. She shook off Zelo's hands that were still clinging onto her arm.

She knew by the moment they stared into their eyes, they both knew exactly who they were. It felt  as if it was yesterday when they were locking lips.

''You're a joke,'' she muttered, giving him a grimace.

Zelo lowered his head to her level and slightly tilted. He sent her a confused look. ''Pardon?''

Jin Ah gritted her teeth. ''I don't want to repeat myself.''

So many images ran through her mind. Why was Zelo playing dumb?

She stepped into the ladies bathroom leaving Zelo by himself at the door.

''Who does he think he is??!!'' Jin Ah stood in front of the mirror and placed her hand into the running sink.

She cleansed her face with cold water and dried it with paper towel.

''Is he intentionally trying to make me angry! Pretending like he doesn't know who I am!'' Jin Ah stared in the mirror and took a deep breath.

She took a couple more deep breaths and fixed her hair.

After another breath, she left the restroom.

Jin Ah turned her heads both sides and glanced to see if Zelo was nearby.

He was gone.

She felt a vibration and pulled out her phone, Jongup was calling.

''Hello?'' She answered in blunt English.

''Friend!! What's up, where you at?''

Jin Ah walked towards the cafeteria. ''Stop, talking American doesn't suit you,'' she laughed.

''I tried,'' Jongup replied in English. ''Anyway, did you get lost? Where are you?''

''Ah, don't worry, I just left the bathroom . I'm headed towards the cafeteria right now.

She entered the cafeteria and didn't even notice the eyes that were laid on her.

She saw Jongup at a table with Himchan and waved at him. As Jin Ah walked towards the table, the students stopped eating and talking to just watch her.

She couldn't tell if it was for a negative reason, but she had no choice but to ignore it.

Jongup and Himchan smiled.

''I thought you feel asleep in the bathroom!'' Himchan joked.

''Whatever,'' Jin Ah smiled and rolled her eyes.

She sat down and laid her back pack on the table.

''Hey Zelo,'' Jongup said.

Jin Ah's heart raced, she looked up and saw that Zelo had sat down at her their table.

She bit her lip and turned the other way.

Zelo noticed and stared.

''What's wrong?''

....

''Jin Ah~ are you okay? Youre not answering Zelo...'' Himchan said.

Jin Ah lifted her eyes and looked up. The three were staring at her.

''I.. I'm fine, I think I have to go to the bathroom...''

She immediately got up and bumped into a girl. Her food tray dropped all over her uniform.

''My clothes!!!!'' The girl screamed. ''What the hell, are you blind?? Look at me!!!''

Jin Ah bowed. ''I didn't mean to, I, sorry!''

''Sorry? You can't clean my uniform by saving sorry!! You bitch!!-''

''Stop it,'' Zelo was standing behind Jin Ah. He stepped in between them and looked at the girls uniform.

''She did it on accident, and this can be taken to the dry cleaners.''

The girl looked at him with large eyes and looked down at the mess.

''Ah, oppa you're right..'' She laughed. ''I guess it's not a big deal.''

Jin Ah didn't thank Zelo, she ran for the bathroom.

Why is he being so nice to her? She thought...

She didn't go to the bathroom, instead she stopped at the library.

She decided to look around and explore.

Her eyes scanned the book shelf and her fingers slightly brushed against the binding.

''Are you new?'' A soft voice asked.

She looked at him, he had a handsome face and blonde hair.

''I never seen you around,'' he said. ''I'm Daehyun.''

Jin Ah bowed. ''Hello, my name is Jin Ah.. Do you come here often?''

''Yeah,'' Daehyun smiled. ''I come here everyday, I love reading.''

''Oh,'' Jin Ah returned the smile. ''I do too,''

The bell rang signifying that class was about to start.

''Well, I got to go to class.. I guess I'll see you often,''

Daehyun grinned. ''Guess so,''

Jin Ah sat down at her desk and waited for class to start.

The bell rang as it did, and all the students took their seat.

''Oh shit,'' Jin Ah said.

''Oh shit,'' Himchan mimicked. ''Isn't that a bad English word? What happened?''

''Oh shit,'' she said again. ''I think I left my backpack at the lunch table!!''

She got out of her seat just as her backpack was placed on her desk. She froze.

''You left your backpack at the table,'' Zelo smiled.

He walked to his desk and turned around, giving her another smile.

Jin Ah was still frozen, she literally could not move.

She was confused on why he was acting this way. And wanted to know.

''Zelo you jerk!'' She yelled.

Zelo's eyes widened and his smile faded.
